    I bleed so much I needed a blood transfusion. I bleed for 30 days straight of HEAVY bleeding. They also gave me a Lupron injection 💉 to shut down my ovaries. I had a bad reaction to Lupron. I nearly lost my mind, my face was numb, and I lost weight. I also had insomnia and severe panic attacks. This went on for months. I literally thought I was dying. Sure, I had no period for 3 months, but it was not worth it. I should sue. It was the worst experience of my life! Now I'm back to bleeding heavy again and terrified of ever letting a doctor touch me again. I've just been living with it because nothing works. I don't know what to do. 😢

      Ask your doctor for a script for Transamic Acid. It is a pill that stops uterine bleeding - even severe bleeding - very quickly. Why most doctors aren’t aware of this is beyond me! It works and I usually only need one dose to stop it.

    Super plus tampons was my norm, when perimenopause hit, I thought I out smarted and found ultra super plus tampons. I'm loosing so much blood so fast, I get anemic and dizzy and light headed in the shower. Even with ultra super plus tampons I'm soaking it every hour and a half. Perimenopause wins :) -A

      Ask your doctor for a script for transamic acid. This will stop a heavy period almost within the first dose. It’s been a life saver for me and has allowed me to be able to live a busy life on the days when I can’t afford to have a bleed through. I’ve had several embarrassing episodes and it is nice to know I can go out in confidence.
      Heavy bleeding is a big problem for so many women but hardly anyone knows about transamic acid. This is a pill and it is very effective! You need to get a script from your doctor.

    • @whitekitten05
      @whitekitten05 5 років тому +11

      @@eveclark2756 It sounds like you have estrogen dominance, but you should follow up with your ob/gyn as there are other things that can cause heavy bleeding. If you've ever had bad pms, or postpartum depression after giving birth you are most likely low in progesterone and it will follow you later in life when you go through perimenopause. Try Progesta-Care with Progesterone, 4 oz. bottle, Ebay Amazon or a local healthfood store can order it. You use one full pump of cream morning and night after ovulation till you get your period then stop and start all over the next month. It takes a little while to get into your system but there are lots of benefits. Read up on it, google progesterone cream, we have to be our own advocate. Good luck, hope you can get a healthy balance.

    Endometrial ablation does help by decreasing your flow to barely anything. Women that had it done say they bleed in spots, or they bleed very little, and some stop bleeding altogether. Good thing for women that don't want any children. You cannot become pregnant after having that procedure, at least that's what I was told. The cost is $1,500 ... That's the cheaper solution versus a hysterectomy. Recovery time for endometrial ablation is same day outpatient.

The bleeding had nothing to do with the procedure, it was actually my period that had started. They have me in Provera 10mg, 3x a day but since.
