My buddy c c has 3 of the Volvo 160 I seen them go places with them that no man on earth dares to walk .his is plumbed with a stage 5 hydraulic thumb quick connect
Do you 'save' these beautiful straight pines for lumber ? Here where I live in waaaaayyyyy eastern Canada,...we never gets trees this tall and straight, they would be worth a buck or two. Nice video(s).
I'm just curious, why don't you guys just use a ripper to dig out trees? Is it too hard to take the bucket off and the ripper on? Don't they make a ripper for your machine? Great video by the way!
Necros1s As I understand it, the slightly older 210 and the new 160c has almost the same engine power, but the 210 had better reach and bigger counterweight, so it can handle bigger buckets. Probably why it's often used for dredging, that stuff is heavy. I could be wrong offcourse, I'm just a desktop worker. XD
I hope you get a pond job soon. Love watching those. Keep on diggin!
She sounds good, looks like it's got plenty of power for what you do
you make it look so easy fast and clean!
that's a really clean and nice looking excavator, strong and tight man it must be nice to operate.
Looks like a sweet machine!

Most of the good ones he sends to the sawmill, yes.
Hey did they repaint that 160 for you? Or just give it a nice detail job to bring out that shine in the old paint???
nothing has been done to it yet, scratches just don't show up on the camera
Really nice video!

because it take forever to load a truck with a ripper only grabbing 18" of brush VS a 48" bucket full
I see.
chris show some video with snow!
Another two successful landings! Lol.
Nice video. Which machine is bigger? 160 or 210. 160 looks to be built pretty stout
210 is bigger! increasing numbers mean bigger in size with volvo's.
Necros1s

The earth looks like Red Velvet cake mix!
nice excavator!!!
change the 210 ??
what is the best way to bury stumps and dabre if you have to?
bury it in layers of dirt so it wont settle so bad, layer of stumper then couple feet of dirt, repeat... never plan to build on the spot!
Does that excavator operate differently than a cat or is it about the same?
The same controls.
Who's on the D39?
my helper
where are you from?
Call me ole fashioned but I always give the root ball a rub with the teeth before I move it.
