Having always loved the thrill of buying something new, Natalie Reeves Billing developed a difficult habit in lockdown - an addiction to online shopping. With her spending spiralling out of control, Natalie spent a whopping £20,000 during the pandemic - including £3,000 on lighting and fixtures that she hasn't even opened yet. After asking delivery drivers to leave parcels around the back so her husband didn’t see, Natalie realised enough was enough! Now she’s determined to make a change and put her family’s financial future first. She joins us to share her story.

I feel this pain immensely. I place this here to relieve my conscience. I am a recovering alcoholic and been sober for over a decade this year. Now my addiction to shopping for gifts for myself never stops; I feel besides the addictive process including chemical reaction in myself I am the only one buying gifts for me. I've a high tolerance for gifts. I need this non-stop interaction. I am addicted to buying music CDs...it fills some hidden need. I'm a single late middle-aged man...I can't stop it...vexing
