A look at selected changes to TfL bus routes in June 2024.

Selected changes to TfL bus services from 8th June through to 29th June 2024.
Contract renewals to existing operators are excluded unless there is a route or significant timetable change

School routes 639 and 670 - operation transferred from London United to Transport UK (formally Abellio)
15th June

22nd June
120 - new contract, retained by Metroline, daily early morning frequency increased from x30 minutes to x20 minutes, daily evening frequency increased from x15 minutes to x12 minutes
No other frequency changes
302 - new contract, retained by Metroline, earlier start EVERY morning, first departure from Mill Hill Broadway now 0505, first departure from Kensal Rise now 0500, early morning frequency increased from x15 Mon-Fri, x20 Sat and x30 Sun to x12 minutes
No other frequency changes
29th June
77 - at Waterloo the first/last stop is relocated to the former 211 stand in Upper Taxi Road (aka Cab Road), the Concert Hall Approach stop will close permanently
85 - weekday daytime frequency reduced from x7/8 minutes to x10 minutes
211 - operation transferred from London United to Transport UK, rerouted at Sloane Square to Battersea Power Station via Lower Sloane Street, Chelsea Bridge, Queenstown Road, Battersea Park Road. Sloane Square - Waterloo section still covered by the 11
440 - earlier start EVERY morning, first departure from Turnham Green and Wembley now 0500, early morning frequency at weekends increased from x30 minutes to x20 minutes, Sunday daytime frequency increased from x20 minutes to x15 minutes, daily evening frequency increased from x30 minutes to x20 minutes
465 - operation transferred from London United to Transport UK
TfL have listed changes for 6th July but I’ll cover them nearer the date
Any modifications or additions will be covered in the next video unless in my view it is significant.

Bus stops B and C for pick up and drop off at Upper taxi road for route 77 operates by go ahead london

There is no operator change for the 77 (the next contract starts in 2025), although TfL did a map, Google Streetview gave an alternative option as to where the new pick-up stop is in relation to the old one, after all the passenger doesn't need to find the last stop, they need to find the first stop and Waterloo can be quite confusing.
