Hello sir. Do the front door open on first pull itself?(even while vehicle is running) I noticed that rear doors do not open on first pull but car unlocks and then open on 2nd pull. Can you please help me confirm if this is a problem in my car or its common feature?

Polo highline Diesel mileage?
As always very informative video. Thanks for that. As you suggested I've purchased VW POLO 1.2 MPI Anniversary edition and it is worth every penny. Would my car side mirrors programmed to close and open automatically by the service center personal? Also my car ran 2k till now; so can I cruise the car in triple digit speed from now onwards?

1. You can program to open / close the ORVM at the VW workshop. But only a few workshops do it.
2. You can very well cruise at triple digit speeds now.

Nice videos, but if you were in a head on crash your legs would be destroyed as you are sitting far too close to the steering column. Move your seat back so you ha slight bend in your knees.
My polo highline 1.2L P car remote locking key is only giving a beep sound But unlock and boot space are working fine with sound and light display, what's the issue? And bootspace warning symbol is displaying all-time though locked while driving, what to do?
Very nice feature as we need not to unlock in emergency situation

Informative sir. i have one doubt. i own a Highline plus petrol and its been under 6 months. recently observed a squeaky sound ( like a gas leak) coming from the front tyre suspension area. workshop guys are sayin that its normal. does ur polo have the same sound too. it can be heard only wen i drive with the windows rolled down and only wen u r driv8ng through an uneven road
It is normal. You need not worry. I also can hear that sound sometimes in my Polo too... Thank you...

Sir plz help me.. i made up my mind for polo pettol highline plus and going to book it in a couple of days. But Going by all reviews, it seems diesel variant will be a better pick( due to greater refinement and pickup). I dont know about my monthly running as this will be my first car. I would like to keep the car for atleast 15 years for sure. I can go with diesel comfortline but i wanted to go with top variant.
So please suggest and motivate me.
Hi. Polo is an awesome choice... Both petrol & diesel are good... But I still recommend the diesel variant as it will give better mileage, better performance, very refined engine and better resale value. Please stretch your budget a little further & get the Highline plus diesel.
I was in the same confusion & ended up buying the petrol. It gives an average mileage of just 10 kmpl in city and performance is ok. Being a driving enthusiast, I should have bought the Polo GT. I now want to upgrade to the Polo GT & seeing the financial losses I will face, I post poned it. While buying itself, we have to buy the best... Get the diesel TDI Highline Plus. It is worth the 1.5 lakhs premium you pay over the petrol variant.

Nice one... in my ameo HL (2016), while the engine is running and any of doors are unlocked, the others doors remain locked . However, it behaves different when the engines are turned off, it gets unlocked centrally when any one door is unlocked.
Thanks for your feedback... In VW Polo, all doors get centrally unlocked if any door is opened from inside even when the car is moving.
How much does it costs to maintain a Volkswagen?
Could be a setting in VCDS. Also do you have any idea on how much would a VCDS conenctor and Softwares would cost in India

The general service cost of Volkswagen Polo ranges from Rs. 9000 to Rs. 13000 per Service. Polo has to be serviced once in 15000 km or 1 year whichever comes first.
If you handle & maintain it properly, the general service cost will be only slightly higher than other cars. But if you don't handle & maintain it properly, repair cost would be high as Volkswagen spare parts are expensive.
dilip sukumar thankyou so much for your valuable reply , and as far as a little bit higher cost of maintenance costs and a Price tag of the Volkswagen are completely justifying coz it provides safety and driving dynamics along with best quality and spares also justify their high cost coz as i read somewhere Volkswagen offers 2 years of warranty on them. And currently Volkswagen is costing more due to less sales numbers i think. Thanks

The Alloys were factory fitted in VW Polo Allstar variant. It is a limited edition which is not available now.

That cannot be done by us. Please do it at the nearest VW workshop. It is a simple work and some workshops do it free of cost.

There is a problem in this system. The doors can be opened from inside while the car is moving. The central locking system wouldn't consider the fact whether the car is moving or parked, before unlocking. So there is a hidden danger there, because children might play with the door handle and the door will open even if the car is moving. I know that there is manual child lock in the rear doors.
Vishnu Prasad Safety practice #1. Never have the children seated at the front seat. They should always be at the rear seats fitted with with proper child seat.
Safety practice #2. They should be at the rear left seat.
Safety practice #3. Child lock should be turned on for the rear left door.
This auto lock feature is present in all European cars. Intent is to help the passengers exit the vehicle immediately after an accident ESP if the driver is not in a position to unlock the doors. High end vehicles do have impact sensing doors that gets unlocked automatically during collision.
