Back when Mitsu never knocked anything out of the park but made some really strong efforts. They pretty much gave up after engineering the last Lancer.
because Mitsubishi is really underrated and despite they made really nice cars (honestly, i would buy a montero instead of 4runner or gx470. in my country it’s called pajero, and we have diesel engines too. but that is just my opinion), nobody bought them. their cars were awesome and very technologically advanced at the time.
Very good 4x4, my mother rest in peace, I had a green with gold in 2006, super comfortable, the family met part of our Caribbean country, the Dominican Republic, the only thing that this vehicle has is high consumption, but it is having it maintained on time. xls plus i belong to a mitsubishi montero club what are loved of all the years

They just had to quit all efforts. Shame really.

Now this is a Montero I would be happy to own. The full-time 4WD system is one of the best in the world. It is expensive but worth it.
when Mitsubishi was still in the game.
I love these things. They look incredibly sharp to this day. I dare say they even look good with big wheels
Agree, still love the looks of these, absolute shame how it guzzles the gas for the V6

This is a real SUV, not this glamorized stuff. This is Mitsubishi’s answer to the Mercedes G-Wagen..
It's 2001 but it felt like 1991.. I can't believe I was already alive that time
...no, this version respectively the 3rd gen Mitsubishi Montero didn't use body-on-frame construction anymore

Maibatsu Monstrosity
Mine is bigger 🙃
Too bad Mitsubishi went belly up, they used to make great cars.
They still make cars today. The outlander is a great SUV
@@larrysugg8190 No where near the Montero though
Today plans are, build cars as cellphones. Disposable
