The thing is I service ice cream machines and chain broilers that NOONE anywhere nearby can provide parts for. So I keep massive amounts of inventory to eliminate downtime. Next time we’ll go drawer by drawer. I’ve still got empty slots to grow into. 😂
@restaurantrepairs I think you misunderstood what I'm saying. I'm not saying it's stupid I'm saying it's crazy. When I think of a van I think of a couple of bins, a ladder and whatever parts are needed in boxes. Tradesmen who have their shit together always blow my mind
Nice setup! I picked up a used tall extended sprinter for my service van. Im 1h-1.5h away from any good hvac - r suply houses. I have home depot orange bins on the shelves. Ilthey each have a purpose or designation ie: plumbing, refrigeration ect. But its never clean or organized i need to invest in better boxes the $$ to get that setup tho is half the cost of my used van hahaha
@@restaurantrepairs I need to quit making fun of you guys but you do such a good job. And you do so well at explaining things that is just fun to give you a hard time. Have a nice day
At this point I’d be happy with a “repost”. Thank you for the Home Depot - spend 300 get 90 off. We literally wipes out our local depots purchasing 2 drawers at a time for the deal
The parts drawers are slowly being eaten into the drawers. It’s a never ending project. I keep crimp ends in that small small one so I can take it in with me but otherwise. If you mean the rear door bins if the first drawer.. there’s just some stuff he wants to keep mobile
@@restaurantrepairs I have a garage full of packouts, and I am always torn on how much more I spent on these and rarely take them elsewhere - but when I do I am thankful I have them, LOL.
That much packout hurts my brain. My buddy is an electrician and has a third of this and i was calling him crazy...

Oh I get what you’re saying. I’m just saying so many wasn’t my original plan. It escalated quickly.. 😂
That level of organization is a beautiful thing, thanks for sharing!
Your mentor is a mentor for a reason I loved his van super organized easy access
Awesome set ups on both vans 👍👍👍
Shame we were missing a third.. 🤔😉
Thanks for the tour. Very nice.👍
Thanks for showing, every time I watch your videos I get so much inspiration !

Your mentor is character...Great setup and brings his dog. I would love to learn under his tutelage
Giant German shepherd also… Lol.
@@restaurantrepairs 🤣🤣🤣
It's a rare thing to go through another man's drawers :D
Great job to both of you. The only thing I didn't see was a room for an elf on a shelf!😂
Ok that a my mentors new nickname!!! 😂😂😂. He’s a little guy 🧝

@berylwhite2983 - Love it!!! Keep the Razz coming 😂
That's an awesome setup! I have never worked out of tall van I'm afraid of the extra height for hauling pipe on the roof..Being able to access it.
and is not heavy like shelves nice
Vans look🔥🔥
Amazing 😊
Nice
i’m pretty interested in that conversation in the background🤔
Good ears…. It’s always fun times around these guys.
What’s that tool box in the first can that slides out?
He’s got a full worth 12” deep drawer. It’s boss. That’s where he keeps his power tools and bits and crimp heads
@@restaurantrepairsyeah I was curious what model it was, that’s sharp
@patrickbishop8007 it’s made by ranger. Yeah it’s super sweet.
How did you 2 land a milwaukee sponsorship😂

do you guys work for the same place or just same line of work?
also the harbor freight glove holder is a game changer
We just do the same “restaurant work” in the same area. So he bails me out when I’m stumped and I’m an extra set of hands when he’s doing an install.
Why spend all that extra money on packouts if the parts bins are just going to live in the van?
