I can't believe I forgot this. If you are still in Tucson, go to Sausage Deli for some incredible sandwiches. My favorite back in the day was the Italian Grinder.
We needed a "Taco Tally" counter on this trip. "Miles driven = 1574" >< "Tacos Eaten = 132" 😊Holding out for the "Drink Whiskey & Wreck Tacos" shirt :) Another fun one. Thanks for bringing us along...cheers!
@TheBourbonVan no doubt! The food in NM and AZ is amazing. Can't find anything like it in the Midwest. Did you try any of the sopaipilla's in NM? They come both savory and sweet, but we would always get them for breakfast, warm with honey drizzled on them. OMG!! Can't find them anyplace else.
You two make Tucson a definite trip for us. Hmmmm, maybe a long weekend get away ....... later in the year when its cooler. LOL. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. Cheers
On a side note I was just prescribed some Hoka shoes from my podiatrist. And I can say that they are great shoes. Enjoying your trip and adventure. Enjoy.
Ok y'all gotta clue me in on how you coordinate shipments received on the road. Does like the UPS guy just pull up beside you and toss a package out the window or what?
We knew where we would be camping in advance, so we had it delivered. But we've also had good luck ordering to Amazon lockers in several place. Though UPS hand-delivery on the highway sounds pretty awesome.

I wish we tracked tacos. The numbers would be absurd.
OMG! My mouth started totally watering when I saw those shrimp tacos! LOL!
Those tacos were ridiculous. So good.

We were so confused to find honey on the table on Mexican restaurants in New Mexico. Then we discovered sopapillas...

It was getting HOT when we rolled out. 90+ degrees is too much for Phil's porcelain doll skin LOL.
My nephew use to live near Phoenix and he would say the summers were awful. Glad Phil survived the heat.
Gotta love the Hokas.

Roadrunners, Mavis is after you. Roadrunners, if she catches you, you're through. I might check into you're Del Bac pick.
Those roadrunners were picking on her for 2 or 3 days. Buncha punks.
@@TheBourbonVan LOL
@@TheBourbonVan I was looking to see if TBV did a video including Eastside 12 year, but haven't found one? Heard good things about it recently.
Nope, not something we're familiar with.
