What I like about the tutorial videos is she does hairstyles that look fancy, but are something I could actually do. I just learned how to french braid my own hair and that is all I have been doing these last couple weeks. Pretty proud of myself considering I am hair handicapped.

love your braids! Can you give me tip? Every time I try to fluff out the sides of the braid, my hair just seems to slide back to it's normal position. Is there some trick? I have really LONG hair (hip length), but it's med/coarse and not super slippery or fine. Also, have you ever done a video on scalp health? Have long really heavy, slightly curly hair, I often find that I end up with some dry scalp/flakiness. But I think it's more b/c the dead skin has a hard time being removed b/c of the hair! Despite the fact that I brush every day and flip my head over and really try to brush and brush and stroke it to remove that skin. I wash 1-2 times a week. Do you suggest a conditioner?

I personally love braids. My employer prefers the girls to wear a bun , braid or twist . You guessed it ... fast food !! The braid is practical and functional.

norma jean How short are you gonna cut it? Choose whatever hair length suits your face or whatever you want! Your hair, your choice. A change is always good, though. :)
norma jean Oh and btw you have more options for hairstyles with longer hair but if you wanna try out short hair, go for it!
