I’m totally making that pasta dish, it looks delicious! I’ve been looking for healthy meals I can batch cook, so this is prefect! I’m also imagining it with rice or some type of grain for variation. Can’t wait to try it! 😋
I would recommend that you track for two weeks eating how you do now, dont change anything! Maybe even write everything down during the day and then calculating at the end just to make sure you aren't subconsciously changing anything. Then at the end of the two weeks of eating your regular diet, calculate the average across all of those days, which will give you your rough maintenance calories! Maybe weigh yourself on day 1 and day 14 to see if it changes (significantly, fluctuations are very normal!) , it shouldn't if you are eating at true maintenance naturally! Then once you have that number, take 10-15% to start and give that a go! Start slow :) Good luck! xxx
Why not just eat the egg yolks? That's where most of the protein and nutrients are, and if it's a calorie thing, you're splitting hairs. Yolks are healthy and sustaining. Just saying ...

Your comment isn’t just making a suggestion, when you say she’s splitting hairs and that you’re “just saying”, the comment can be taken with a certain undertone that doesn’t suggest a helpful suggestion but rather a judging comment. She’s eating the eggs that way because that’s how she wants to eat them. These videos are meant to share what she’s doing, she’s not asking anyone for nutritional advice. If it was a kind suggestion I think you would have worded it differently. How you write a sentence will reflect the tone in which you mean it.
@@missygee6155 So the yolk contains practically all the fat in an egg, which is great and why it tastes good! However the whites have loads of protein without the fats so they are less calorie dense, so you can eat more of them for the calories while hitting your protein goal. I rather get my fats elsewhere and also get more calories in from other foods throughout the day than having more than one whole egg. :) Hope that makes sense.. it just means more volume for less calories in this particular meal. x
