Nice summary. I have been going down the same rabbit hole. Have not tried the 945 bag yet. The Vertx was so close to being perfect for me but its lack of structure was a killer along with the front phone pouch. Marsupial has a nice bag for sub compacts. Unfortunately I got the smallest size which works great for the P365X Macro but not my Staccato CS which is my preferred EDC. Again, great video, thanks for sharing!

The 945 Industry is an amazing tote, I was looking all over for something to use with different fits. Also, don't care where it was made for the most part, as long as it works.
I have used fanny packs as my everyday purse for years now. I've just started looking into carry bags. I like the 945 but wish the front pocket was more the size like the main pocket. Big enough to hold a thicker wallet, checkbook, battery pack, charger cable, etc.

I've done the same thing, most of the other bags have a design flaws, that hangs , or catches when drawing. Finally a gun guy made a bag for gun guys... I even got an extra holster from them 945 is the best
Man I tried to like the vertx bag I don't have the socp but I have their long walks edc waist pack, the straps suck and the strap hardware sucks it comes loose all the time. It gets pretty thick after putting anything more than a handgun in it. I'm looking at the 945 now, if it can fit a full size then I'm happy. Any thoughts on the hill people gear waist packs or the eberlestock ones?
Both of the ones you mention are good qualit. The HPG is the best. The only reason I like the 945 the most is how fast I can deploy my pistol. It is made well but the HPG will be a better, more well constructed, bag. And they are made in America.
@@sortoftactical appreciate the response and feedback, sounds like you've had a lot of experience with a lot of different bags, I've had my eye on those for a while, HPG or eberlestock I'm thinking I'll decide between, cost not being an issue I just want something that I'm going to like and not regret buying lol.

I hate the SOCP for the flop! 😂 It works better as a fanny pack than it does a cross body. I got just the holster from 945 and use that in the SOCP and another bag I have, and it works much better than what came with the vertex pack.
Awesome comparisons bro👌🏽💯 just wondering with the 945 Ind. bag, are you able to sling it to any shoulder and still be able to draw your firearm from either hand? Just wondering cuz I usually wear my shoulder bags on my left side. But I noticed everyone doing reviews on this bag, it’s alway slung over the right shoulder for right handed shooters. Thank you in advance for any feedback.
GREAT review and you have a new subscriber. I was very interested in the 945 and for the same reasons you like it best. How would you rate the 945 against the Eberlestock Bando and Bando XL?
@1funcar I have the Bando and it is well made. It will not draw anywhere near the speed of the 945. I now use my Bando for my stethescope and trauma sheers when I work ambulance and hospital shifts.
You mention running shorts (assuming you run) how does the 945 feel when running? (aka does it start to slide around/shift down, or bang against your body, etc...) I plan to use some sort of off body (sling bag?) carry when running. Thanks and love the review vids.
I ordered the Vertx. But it was the everyday carry one. Blends in more. Looks like the LuLu Lemon one. Very flimsy, the clip was horrible. Could EASILY come undone accidentally. And as a CCW. You are responsible for that. Too many “what ifs” I ordered the 945 Industries. It is a good bit more expensive. But does come with a custom kydex holster. Which is actually one of my favorite parts. Most “Velcro holsters” are very basic. Seems they just manufacture a flat back holster and glue Velcro to it. It works. But can be finicky to draw. The 945 holster is a full kydex holster with a flap of Velcro bolted to the holster (doesn’t interfere with the firearm) but allows a slight lift up on the holster to allow a MUCH more secure purchase on the firearm. Again, it isn’t cheap. But it’s definitely not made as cheaply as the Vertx. Plus nearly every gun reviewer on YT has a 10% off code. As well as a generous Military Discount.
