    Soft-spoken male ASMR with brush and hand movement about cave painting and human life in the Paleolithic Age.
    In this video, you are invited to discover the most ancient works of art we know of. We will visit caves like Lascaux and Altamira, as well as examine works from around the world (Australia, Somalia, Algeria, California, Argentina...). What materials did Homo Sapiens use to decorate caves? Why and how did they do it? Let's take a look and try to understand a few things among all the mysteries enclosed in these ancient creations.

    I'm really glad you returned to ASMR, these videos are so helpful as well as educational. I had a thought regarding the Venus sculptures which I think you said were attributed to men - I understand there's a belief now that they were self portraits created by women due to the fact that the skewed proportions are exactly that which a woman would see when looking down at her own figure (it might also explain their facelessness).

Not only do you have a very relaxing, tingle-inducing voice, but you pick such interesting topics to talk about and your passion shines through in every video (in a soothing way of course!). I really like the top-down camera with the objects & art relevant to the subject you've introduced since your return. It's very aesthetically pleasing and it makes each video feel particularly unique and hand-crafted. I'm so glad you returned to making ASMR videos, and I just wanted to let you know that all the passion you put in is recognised and appreciated. Merci beaucoup!

    What do you think of the theory that modern humans did not have to "discover" fire and stone tools, because we evolved from hominids such as P. Boise who kept fire and crafted stone tools? It is compelling to think that it wasn't humans who discovered fire, but fire that made it possible for big-brained, smooth-skinned humans to appear. Wow, Promethean much?

    • @TheFrenchWhispererASMR
      @TheFrenchWhispererASMR  5 років тому +3

      I am really not an expert on this, but I understand that the scientific consensus dates the use of fire and stone tools long before the appearance of homo sapiens and anatomically modern humans. The use of stone tools by various australopithecus species has been proven (but I don't know whether they crafted them or not), so we know that humans did not invent stone tools at least.
