Afternoon tea at the Ritz is fantastic. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their breakfasts. They are awful. Dried out food, no choice of juices for us (although others were offered different choices). We thought it would be as exciting as the afternoon tea, sadly we were very mistaken. If I posted a picture online of what I was served and tagged the Ritz, they would not be happy with what was served.

Everyone has different tastes but my friiend and I had high tea at the Ritz recently. The room was beautiful, the service impeccable, the crowd dressed lovely including a couple fascinators but... the sanwiches and sweets were although pretty tasted unremarkable or inedible. The scones were quite nice. Not sorry I had the experience but if you are looking for tasty sweets, I'd do some research.

It's not an infuser. It's a tea strainer. The tea is in the pot.
What about for people who don't take alcoholic drinks?
You don't have to have it. There is a really simple phrase that not everyone knows-No thank you.
Try it. It's really easy and effective. I've been using it for more than 60 years. 😊
