    Would you suggest the 2k time trial pace be max effort, 80-90%, 50-70%, 30-50% effort wise?
    I would imagine going all out will make the remaining training unsustainable since you only add 2 seconds to your average pace. Appreciate any thoughts!

    How much does zone2 training help with building an elite engine?

      If you want to build an elite engine, you'll need to progress your zone 2 weekly. I recommend starting off with the 30 minutes of cardio 5 days weekly like I mentioned in the video, and then increasing your intensity slightly week over week. You can do this by slightly increasing your pace, and slowly building your volume of zone 2 work.
