While I love the film - and franchise - I'm still watching the Scream Factory Collector's Edition Blu-ray with the new 2K scan, and upscaled to 2160p via my Panasonic DP-UB9000, it looks really good. I just didn't think this required a double dip; I was already coming from the original Warner Bros DVD. Something must be said about the DTS Master Audio track on the Scream Factory Blu, though - they really dropped the ball with this mix, as everything sounds center-loaded without any surround activity or even left/right spread. The DVDs Dolby Digital 5.1 track was actually far more aggressive in terms of steering, especially up front. I don't know if the 4K releases from Scream and Arrow ever fixed this.
Mine arrived today also...I chose original artwork too. Knowing you can switch the art on the amaray case means you can't really go wrong anyway.
True. Definitely makes sense 👍🏻
The Original artwork was more expensive than the new artwork version
A nice 4k set that is of Exorcist 3 which I liked as well I have the blu-ray version from years ago and might get this eventually though.
if its the same transfer as the scream factory release, it should look really good
Yeah same master. Different encode on disc.
I have those coming as well, but i live in Germany, so everything takes longer to come.
Awesome. Hope you enjoy it.
@@4kCollectivE i look forward to it, idk if I have ever seen this one before.
