@@hikaru9624 I played 3U on the 3DS and it really is a complete game, just as good as the Wii U version in my opinion. The graphics for 3U on 3DS are actually better than 4U XD Just be aware that with 3U 3DS you only have Local WiFi multiplayer.

Ah, the Ceadeus... the monster that single-handedly brought me into the Monster Hunter franchise. I don't think I'll ever see a huge Elder Dragon i like as much as the Ceadeus, nor will there ever be an Elder Dragon like the Ceadeus.
Very true, Ceadeus holds a very special place in my heart. Everything about it, everything is truly amazing. Definitely one of the best, most incredible monsters ever created by Capcom.

It's kind of unlikely he will come back, but one of the "leaked images" of Iceborne with the name of the hunt quests, among the Elder Dragon quests, there was a Quest named "Memories of a sea god" and so far, unless it's a brand new Elder Dragon, "Sea God" only fits Ceadeus, heck, it's name is literally SeaGod
I would love a Jhen Mohran-esque siege where you are out on the open sea engaging in some Monster Hunter grade extreme whaling against a Ceadeus that's threatening the ships that travel between the Old World and the New World.
It makes me sad to think that this monster among many others may only appear in 1 core game simply because of the underwater mechanics required to take them on. I hope they bring back underwater fighting one day and give monsters like Epioth, Gobbul, and Ceadeus a fresh reappearance. The only reason Lagiacrus and Royal Ludroth made it to other games is because most of their move sets can be used in land as well as water, and Lagi even got some new moves to make up for the lack of water fights.. MHW needs an ocean area with water fighting. The fact that they can add a new mechanic like the Clutch-claw tells us they probably can add underwater fighting. We already have swimming mechanic for in-between water transitions in some areas, so it wouldn't be terribly out of the way to make areas that are entirely water with the ability to manually swim in them, and maybe even fight. It would be a perfect way to reintroduce some of MH's most deadly water beasts.

Alot of the movement they animated in MHW looks so much more flexible and energetic than any of the leviathans' moves, like Lagiacrus. Mind, that Lagiacrus is actually i think the most flexible of the MH3 leviathans, and Mizutsune being the most flexible looking of all of them... (and Mizu wasn't even in a swimming game).

Amazing cover. Back when I first fought the Ceadeus I was completely blown away. The music, the ancient dragon and the enviroment had this presence that none before had.
What is so thrilling about Ceadeus is that it *doesn't care about you* for the entire first part of the fight. Only kinda shrugging and wiggling. Then on phase 2, it may be fighting you, but once that horn is broken, it's pain has stopped and it leaves peacefully.
I know a lot of people didn't like the underwater fighting, but I enjoyed it. It was different and challenging. I miss Ceadeus. Awesome track as always. Your MH tracks always make me want to go back and play it.
@@xkelbix93 There is no ground fight with Cea, so with other monsters. I just mean by that "classic" MonHun gameplay, on the ground instead of underwater.

hrpang imagine an environment then just say -borne next like what Gaiaborne brings back the titans of Monster hunter Jhen Mohran and Dalamadur heck bring back Gog and Lao. Aquaborn is for the monsters who will return in the water. Airborne.... imagine fighting amatsu in air like let me correct myself... You fight amatsu in land and repel him then next encounter you fight him airborne then 3rd fight is just the normal fight but more intense.

Imagine there being almost all the old and a lot of the new ones clashing an apex predator that must be stopped to prevent a world’s end ... Ehhh that’s just me losing thought again.

RIP underwater combat. You were a bit clunky but I still loved you. This was such a climactic fight for Tri, I'm just sad we'll never see it again, even though you can still see his cave's entrance in Generations from the Deserted Island base camp.

I think than one game Subnautica could have stolen little bit of Seadeus's looks and used those on the ghost leviathan. Horns, "lights", body shape... but wait, it also lives in a tunnel cave thing under the sea floor... 😕. Or is it just quisidence.

I tried it on the demo and honestly I found it was functional. That said my 3ds is the "new" one so it used the little nub of a c stick.
I don't think it is as good as the ground fight. But it is a really nice change of pace in the game and i wish to see it come back one day.

I think than one game Subnautica could have stolen little bit of Seadeus's looks and used those on the ghost leviathan. Horns, "lights", body shape... but wait, it also lives in a tunnel cave thing under the sea floor... 😕. Or is it just quisidence.
