Have found the three tunnels and the shaft and entered a concealed cut obviously not made by the subsequent miners from San Jose Pueblo in his mining report to Marshall Kimball in 1899. When he reported (1842)his four mining companies took all the gold they wanted. Making several cuts (this was one of them) and found gold in every one. We will neither confirm or deny taking gold and silver from the cut.

There is no slag at the site since the Spanish had their smelter underground near the Pueblo shaft as described in the Waybill.
