My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 8 years ago. As her caregiver (and former vegetarian myself for almost 20 years) I've always tried to put on the table wholesome food, maybe no vegan, but lots of fruit and vegetables, and seeds, legumes, whole grains, no sugar, no saturated fats... Every morning we take a stroll, sun or rain.
About to turn 84, my mother is still able to speak with me. I don't mean deep talks, don't get me wrong, but I can talk to her and, to a certain extent, feel I'm being listened. And under the circumstances, that is a big deal.
I have enjoyed the interview. Such an amazing task undertaken by this wonderful, compassionate couple must be broadly shared.
    Thanks, Rich.

Some are strict beef, salt, water. Others can include other animal product, meat, eggs, dairy. UA-cam has a lot of info. • @FiberFairy22

Rich, I’m ecstatic that you had this duo on your show!!!
I have learned so much from them and of course Dr. Zach, Dr. Bernard, Dr. Klaper, Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. Campbell, Dr. Amen, Dr. Bredesen, Dr. Greger and Dr. Hyman that the best of all combined has really brought my mom back from what had been stated was “untreatable advanced cognitive decline”.
At UCSD Geriatric Health Unit they rocked her with Depakote and she lost the ability to speak.
No typical physician, especially my mother’s nor her psychologist believed that there was any treatment and they were certain that there was no “cure”.
Let’s be honest: we are all going to transition to another dimension at some point no matter what you believe that is. So is there really a “total cure “ for anything?
With the protocol I cobbled together based on all of these doctors practices and talks, my mom has made staggering physical and mental progress to where she is able to do word finds and participate in adaptive exercise classes again!
The tiny percentage of doctors like the Sherzai’s and the others named above, who are breaking new ground by continuing to ask “why “and to promote the power of lifestyle and diet to allow the body to heal, are critical for EVERYONE to have in their mental toolbox and as online resources as this TRUE EPIDEMIC continues to exponentially explode.
Simply succumbing to Western medicine’s antiquated and pharmaceutically-driven statement that “there is no hope” is seemingly criminal and we need to come together to support each other and give a much different ending to all of our life stories! 💓💓💓✌🏽🌱

      Oh yes..& I too..
It clearly indicates that all human children could/would excell to each ones' individual capacity given the optimum conditions..
Instead the governors of this world research & fund death & destruction & ignore & bury all the potential of this human race...throughout the milennia of time...
There have likely been people on this earth who understood these principles of learning & societies that evolved far back in history, that were also extinguished for their 'neurological differences'.
This should be our birthright..& perhaps in another lifetime on this planet our beautiful Earth will be populated by beings of a higher order such as these children who are exceptional in this day & age.
To consider such a future for this world is inspiring & encouraging to me..irregardless of the fact that my earthly body will be long gone.

Hello Rich, thanks for such an interesting podcast. There are two links in my previous comments that may be interesting for you and others in the same line of prevention of Alzheimer and lifestyle. The links connect to information that the Sherzai shared. Once again thanks so much! Greetings all the way from Sweden.
