Like you said just a bad seed kinda thing, I think the response fits very well and clearly states the issue at hand and how it was handled. There review was very vague without ligit reasons. On the bright side of things these bums prolly won't be in business much longer from the sound of it 🤣
i definitely read the reviews but you are 100 percent right that you cant trust the reviews because people are being payed to give businesses good reviews i think you handled your situation in a very professional manor and there are so many trucking companies out here now that have poor maintenance practices and they give the good truckers and trucking businesses a bad name theres so many guys out here now that are only concerned with their bottom line and not taking care of their equipment keep up the good work and i really enjoy your channel i am a trucker and i really enjoy your technical content and i could watch you work on that detroit all day long i used to drive an old kw with a silver 92 in it and it was tuned perfectly and boy did that old girl run!

Unfortunately you're gonna have a couple idiots along the way that you will never please no matter what you do, personally I could care less about Google reviews to me it's word of mouth that's how we found the truck shop we work with. Keep doing what you do, I enjoy watching your videos, and love the screaming Jimmy!

You did the right thing for DOT inspection because you are liable for signing off on inspection if you know there is safety problems and didn’t fix them. My wife runs a small business and had a similar thing happen to her with a bad goggle review. She didn’t, bother responding because people involved had a attitude that they where better than her when she dealt with them. Would have made matters worse. Gets harder every year to deal with people. I think you have a good business going. You are right about moral aspect. Integrity is always best. Just shake dust off and move on.
I do the same as you. It will work. Leave it. Odds are you already turned it in to a win. Around here, other than dealers, its getting hard to find shops that will do inspections now. Too much of this crap.
I don't give much credence to high star reviews. As I worked for a company that had their employees solicit reviews and paid bonuses for good reviews. I did not solicit nor asked for a review because it should be earned not asked for.
