I ty this since years even with a yoga teacher. But your video is the best. Learning over the years, I m not so bad but it gives me room for tiny mistakes. The basics are so important. Thank you for going deep down into the topic and showing opportunities for each level
Ty’s out-of-the-choir view on the always-new-always-the-same breathing practice is a pleasure to witness. Alessandro’s essential but sophisticated photographic choices help conveying the breathing quality of the experience 🙏 thanks
What a WONDERFUL explainatory video... SUPER USEFUL for my next 100 years' daily Ashtanga practice. Thanks both for your beautiful contribution in this very moment🙏🙏🥰
Thank you very much🙏 had to jump out of bed to see if I could do the jump back and forth more easily, and I could ”I did it” thanks to the way you explain and showed it Thank you 🙏❤️💫
pretty sweet tutorial!!! love it, Ty makes it looking soooo easy... everyone learning jump back and jump through knows how difficult it can be ... lolasana itself is hell pose, practice, practice practice, all the best
Such an amazing demonstration and control of what the body can do. Watching Ashtanga is just breathtaking to me it's like a a masterpiece I don't want to blink so I don't miss anything, so inspiring. Amazing instruction Ty you are a gift to the practice.
Thank you so much Ty landrum . I wish to do this lift jump but till now not able to make it. Finding ur tips helpful and very detailed . Hope I can do it. Keep sharing more😊😊🙏
You have cultivated a beautiful practice. My only question is does the skull always move last? As a practitioner of many years I struggle with this concept. Do you find it easier to let the head move organically or is your drishti always evident? Moreover are you moving your eyes and the head follows or are you moving the head and the eyes follow? Perhaps there’s nothing within this thought but sometimes I find myself very enveloped in it.
Nice tutorial.... What is interesting in the shala I practice I was told I need to jump through during inhale and not exhale. Where can I find a valid Asthanga vinyasa description? Thx
Exhale downward dog Inhale jump through Exhale when you drop your legs and move into next posture (that's quite difficult at the beginning and usually one will need extra breaths here) Inhale Extend the spin look up Exhale drop your head and stay 5 breaths. You can check gregor mähle's book on ashtanga yoga its quite complete, with pictures and anatomical knowledge as well as a commentary on the yoga sutras
@@benjaminboehme282 Thanks for the clarification. Indeed difficult. But at least I am on a track, which is well guided and built and not wandering around. :-)

Everything will come with time. Keep practicing and enjoying the process. 🙏🏼

I can jump back but not through. I’m still scared of lifting my hips high as I fell flat on my face a few times before.
Straight arms helps.
