Oh god. Fogerty is a genius. So hugely talented. Among all of the rock bands of the 60s and 70s, CCR's sound was totally unique, all due to John's creative genius.
This music is like water no matter how much you want to go drink other things but in the end you just want fresh water and you appreciate it so much more.
Young John reminds me of the way my dad use to dress as a teen. Hands down a spitting image. Lol so glad my dad showed me the greatest music of all time. I’m 23 and been listening to rap crap all my teens. now that I’m a bit older and slightly wiser I really appreciate these songs. They remind me of when I was younger. And my dad would always play CCR on his guitar I would just jam out with him. Great memories. My dads now 66 years young. Someday I plan on taking him to one of Johns concerts. It would be such an honour to meet our hero!
Saw him, along with his son and the rest of the band, at the El Rey a few years ago celebrating, I believe, his 68th birthday. Played some old ones, some new ones and all were good. The band was tight.

I'd do just about anything to sit down with john and listen to the stories he has about music and everything from that era. It would be an awesome experience to say the least. He is a true musician that many could try to be but would fail miserably.
When I was young and going through army cadets we used to go to a bivouac that we called "Cody's camp" because the owner of the grounds name was Graham Cody.
Amo esta voz rara áspera con agudos y muy potente bien campesina xa el rock COUNTRY. x siempre John Fogerty un genio ejecutando todo instrumento. UN TALENTO UNICO. 😘😘😘❤
One of the few bands I had in every audio/video format through the years......8 track, LP, VHS, cassette, CD, bluray, Itunes etc The music is timeless, Fogerty is brilliant
Efectivamente yo también viví esa epoca, llegaba de la secundaria y me ponía a hacer la tarea tomando café y escuchando a credence, que recuerdos tan hermosos, saludos
Awesome!!! I've been listening to this all my life and I grew up beside a river. My Mom and Dad went to see them in '70 at the Pacific Colusium in Vancouver. I was 6 I remember waiting up for them to get home so I could ask how Credence was!!! My Dad used to crank up run through the jungle and we'd go fucking ape shit!!!
The mark of a great band...their music is timeless. Never get tired of hearing some old CCR. CCR put out so much great music in a very short time...too bad they couldn't have hanged together for a little longer...such a unique sound. I've seen John's recent shows, and he does put on a spectacular show, but the original "Creedence sound" is missing. Been a CCR fan since 1968-1969 while growing up.
@photog1529 Indeed. But even within that sub-par album, John's songs (e.g. Sweet Hitchhiker) are still very good, especially when compared to the mediocrity of the songs the others wrote.
Green River intro/theme one of the best! In my favourite package together with Sharp-dressed man; Long Tall woman; Buzz the jerk; Money for nothing; Born on a bayou; btw. made me laugh seeing John laugh all the time :-)
Same here, now 59 n still love their music. At 13 yrs old I found my uncle's CCR albums n have listened to them ever since. I spent a lot of time driving alone 200 miles roundtrip 1-2 times a month, we live on a remote Reservation. John Fogerty kept me company so many times. He's one of the best musicians! God bless all musicians*
This great track, I could never get it identical to the original, it is one of the best creations, and I have never seen it playing with the German guitars, Rickenbacker, as they were used a great part at the beginning of The Beatles' artistic career
Juan Curutchet rickenbackers are American made , Fullerton California . Lennon bought his in Hamburg Germany at a music store . But those are American made instruments , just sayin......
As I followed C.C.R. through their career. I always admired Johns gift. When there was turmoil with the other band members, I felt that they needed to understand that John was the force behind the band and they should be very thankful to be a part. I would love to play alongside of John Fogerty. Love you all Bill.
John in this song moves me. From Chile, South America, Spanish-speaking country
The reverb on this performance is crazy; sounds great, then sounds like it is going to overload
His hair ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍 no more bowl cut ( both cuts are beyond beautiful btw)
The best band ever.
Fogerty is truly unique. Such a talent, such a voice.
There is nothing in this old world that cheers me up like a Creedence song. 😉

Real music made by real musicians...the way it should be.
Love love love CCR!!!! Just turned 76 and have loved them forever!! In my first marriage I shared their initials!!
i could never divorce a woman that liked CCR!
We, in the USSR, liked Creedence as The Beatles.
Remembering my wonderful young life as I remember it with love and happiest
Was für ein schöner Mann John Fogerty doch war und er sieht heute noch gut aus.❤😊 Grüße aus Deutschland! Ich bin ein Fan seit 1970!

John Fogerty: One of the greats
Makes me feel at home because there is a river called "green river" in my town.
Still one of the best CCR songs ever.
Cali?
When I was young and going through army cadets we used to go to a bivouac that we called "Cody's camp" because the owner of the grounds name was Graham Cody.
I have a blue and green sea.
There's a river where I live but it's brown.
Hope Gary Ridgeway didnt play there
