Just saw the Tattoo for the first time ever today. It was absolutely fantastic, and even more fantastic that I could see my cousin participate in it. (He's on stage left directly in front of the screen... far left.. the drummer left of the bagpiper) After my first experience, I will definetly be going again.
That second tune is the Connaught Ranger's regimental march; "In the army we're the best from north south east and west The best of boys are following the drum. And I say without conceit that we're mighty hard to beat, Faith the enemy are welcome when they come. Be they Russian, French or Dutch, Oh it doesn't matter much We're the boys to put the sugar in their tay. For we are the Connaught lads, we're the boys that know no fear With a Falla-balla-ralla Clear the way! You may talk about your guards, boys, Your lancers and hussars, boys, The fusiliers and Royal Artillery (without their guns!) Oh, the girls we drive them crazy, the foe we beats them aisy, The Rangers from old Connaught (Rhaaaaa!) The land across the sea!"
I am pretty sure I heard them sing the anthem wrong. I believe I heard 'in all of us command' what is that supposed to mean? I never liked that when it was brought up.

2:09 that's Farewell to Nova Scotia! Never knew they used it as a closing tune!
I was in the front row of the Navy Honor Guard as well as 5 other acts!. Definitely a wicked experience.
