For me, personally, it's a tie between Doom 2016 and Doom: Dark Ages. The 2016 trailer got us all hyped up for Doom's return. The Dark Ages trailer showed us the Slayer quite literally going medieval on some demonic ass.
My thoughts exactly
Eternal had to be my fav, the gameplay looked wild, and mainly what caught me is finally diving deeper into the slayers lore, they gave us every single thing we asked for and more. Although really all are just amazing work by ID
Doom Eternal was my favorite, from seeing the return of classic demons with their doom 2 appearances, the showcase of the meathook on the super shotgun, and finally witnessing the slayer use the crucible in action along with a new badass demon that instantly became a fan favorite, the marauder.
Not a reveal trailer but the 2016 live action trailer "Fight like hell" is in my opinion not only the best doom trailer but also just one of the best trailers ever made.
That one is cool too. It was so different. Imagine a whole movie like that. 🧐
That organ music in first story trailer for doom eternal was amazing, wish it was fully integrated in the game soundtrack
For me the 2016 live action trailer was my favorite trailer... But for reveals I'll give it to Eternal.

DOOM Eternal E3 2019 trailer was so fucking good. The rip and tear chat, the fact the trailer just starts with a chainsaw cutting hell knight in half. And the narration was so good, it definitely sets the tone perfectly for what the game will be

I think what is going to make this new game so insane is that we are going to find out that this isn't a prequel game... it's a sequel.. The universe from Doom eternal had been destroyed and a new Cycle must begin in order to stabilize the energy connection to the unseen realm.
Why would anyone want that lol just saying that’d be a pretty bad decision to abandon the story like that
@@passingRakz954 it's not abandoning the story. The cycle has already reset atleast twice in the current timeline..
@@Tetrohedracon it’s not been reset like you said this is a prequel game, showing what we heard from the codex and a lot more, this is the original doomguy from 1993 so the next game might show when the sentinels found him in hell and trained and such and such, the universe has never been reset
@@passingRakz954 the codex literally says the universe has been reset. The Engines of Creation in Urdak are used to create universes as well as regenerate soulspheres.
@@Tetrohedracon the dark lord created the universe as the codex states, urdak doesn’t create new universes idk where you got that from, it also never says the universe has been reset. I’ve watched plenty of lore videos and not once have they said that that’s the case and I’ve never seen that in the codex
For me, Eternal would be last because of 2 reasons.
1-It teased a ost we never got (among others).
2-Despite how epic it was, it over-hyped me.
Doom 2016 and Dark Ages just seem more gritty, and I like that.
Eternal would have been the best if it had 2016’s graphics and tone.
@@leinadneyugn1132I agree 2016 had some amazing visuals but seeing the giant vistas and story telling in the environment was insane, the style of 2016 ultimately wouldn’t have worked for eternal, it’s more of gritty destruction and than versatility in the different levels. 2016 was pretty much just mars and hell which was cool but eternal knocked it out the park
The voice acting could have been better too. Compare the BFG 10000 level intro. The voice acting sounds better from the E3 sneak peek.
@@darkninja1732 they sound more afraid in the final version, however, in the e3 they sound more realistic and grounded.

Doom 2016 had the best, but only for its pure carnage and that it was a show of force after the shit doom 3.
(I hate eternal so nothing of value is lost in ignoring it)
But honestly The Dark Ages is bringing back 2016 vibes and i really really love it, cant wait.
I love how it’s either love or despise eternal, both are great but some can’t appreciate there hard work on literally giving us what we asked for, explanations of the lore, better gameplay, eternal was so godamn cool, I get your perspective but honestly ppl still hating on eternal need to broaden their taste

Honestly my problem with Eternal is that the game is boring.
Its not too hard, its not too simple its just boring.
To the point i have tried to finish it 3 times and last time i was watching movies while playing it.
Eternal was almost what i want in a doom game.
Doom has always been balls to the wall action
(Not Doom 3 but that game was a horrible doom game)
But eternal had too many slow downs, farming hp, ammo and armor.
(I mean boss fights had blood bags following you to open up when you needed them)
I should not be low on ammo, i should be sliding on blood. Slamming demons into walls to make dents.
Blowing walls open as my shots punches holes in them.
But Eternal made me feel weaker.
Doom 2016 i could punch a zombie to paste, in eternal (on a cool down) you just kind of showed them away.
Doom 2016 not only said you where the PTSD of hell but made damn sure to show it.
Eternal forgets this and introduces weapon swapping, limited ammo, and blood bags.
Those 3 things killed my enjoyment of Eternal.
Im here to slay demons with what ever fun gun i have on me.
But eternal is built around trying to get you to be a switch knife.
Its just not Doom.
@@Zargas I get your perspective but just honestly that’s a very small minority of people that don’t like the combat, I mean once you learn it you feel like an absolute unstoppable force especially bloodpunch which can destroy crowds of enemies and deal massive damage to heavy demons, you pretty much can use some same guns and then just refill with chainsaw, but that was never even the intention for 2016s guns anyways you were still supposed to switch around and there was no real slowdowns unless you pick that as your rune. I get some people wanted it differently but that’s what they gave us and they did an amazingly good job to those who enjoyed it. Saying it’s not doom is just old now and weird, if you don’t like it that’s fine but you can’t just say “it’s not doom” it makes no sense. Felt like doom to me at least
I think all 3 are great and the dlc ones are the weakest
