I feel sorry for everyone who's trying to learn how to play that song and wont find you 😓 you're the best. A few months ago I went through so many videos and finnaly found your lesson. Now I was trying to find you and wasn't as easy anymore (luckily I saved this video) . Thank you so much for what you did
If you bend down instead of up on the d string bend in the main part of the song it allows the open A string to keep droning with out getting in it’s way. Helped me.
Your great at explaining, so easy to listen to for me it feels easy to absorb the info. I’m only new to guitar and this is the 2nd song I looked for. Nirvana ‘come as you are’ being the first. Thanks
If you do a quick double strum on the E riff right before you slide down to the B octave chord it kind of mimics the effect in the song and has a nice sound on acoustic.
thank you David. You seem to capture all the nuances used by Billy in this great Smashing Pumpkins song. Never thought I’d learn so many different ways to play a chord! 👍🏽
I really appreciate how in depth you go into these lessons. Way better than any other lesson videos I've seen. Would be amazing if you can make a lesson for Police Station from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Hi David, love this song. Thanks for this. I really appreciate you providing the different levels. But getting to the most “difficult “ level wasn’t that tough after I got the basics down. Love the bends and the swells.. Also, these songs are great, because they are different than the standard fare (Maggie may, Margaritaville etc.).
Ik this is a rlly old video, but does anyone have any tips for the octave shape? I’ve been trying to get it right for hours but it sounds like shit lmao
Thank you so so much, sir! I’ve been wanting to learn this one for a while, but would rather die than try any tuning other than drop D or standard, lol. You’re a life-saver. :)

The turn-around into the chorus from the verse is easier played as: x-0-0-4-2-0-0 to x-2-4-4-0-0. Also I have seen Billy Corgan do it live this way.
Dude this is a fantastic lesson, thank you. Subbed.
