Thanks for the information! Makes life easier for many. Including the dal makes it a complete package. The mustard and curry leaves treatment makes it more appealing. I suppose the dal was well sieved and/or wiped to get rid of the fines and vermin. Another uploader called for pre washed and dried dal, which is quite a task, but nice. Wish you a happy New year! Perhaps we can now avoid the soaking and pressure cooking for our daily Dal, with some modifications! I suspect some restaurants use roasted and ground dal for their dal dishes.

I added 5 tablespoon of moong dal, thuvar dal, pottukadalai each along with 1 tbsp of urud dal. It came out so well! I'm really thankful for your great innovative idea! I followed the exact recipe and steps and the quick easy sambar was ready which i otherwise have to eat outside in a restaurant here. I lost my maternal grandmother (Vaddi Amma) when i was quite young. I think if she would have been alive, she would have taught me the things just the way you do. You are “Vaddi Amma” to me for teaching me things in a simplified manner🤗🤗

Last one year i am making this powder for travel and one week vacation tour. Easy to make in the electric rice cooker when ur travel
