My pair just arrived! Compared to the currently available options - Atmos gear, escend blades - I think this is a decent POC. Being compact and without cables. I think any implementation of electric assist is going to at least have the drawback of a lack of maneuverability. Either because of weight or the two wheel/quad skate design when placing the battery between the wheels. I'm looking forward to future innovations.
nice review bro, I reckon the idea of a fully integrated battery/motor/skate package isn't going to be possible at least until the battery tech advances and we get far smaller batteries that produce the same if not more power than our current Lithium Ion battery tech. When we start seeing these new batteries rolled out in other things such as electric cars I'm sure it would just be a matter of time before they are put in other things such as an electric skate. (LONGING for that day ! lol )
Is it possible to use only one of the skates and have the other foot free or with your own quad or inline skate? Assume it may not work if not enough power..?
Not having trucks is indeed the no1 problem with these. That lack of movement is a big problem. That top speed is a bit scary :) Props to quarters for the camerawork?
You need to try my electric roller cart. It's been in prototype mode: for a few years, but even the prototype is super fun. And you can then carry all your extra skates to and from spots. Some day I'll make you way out to you so you can give it a try!
Your experience is probably the problem. You're second nature with inline skating. Looks like it's a completely different experience and should be treated like something new and NOT like a modified quad or online.
I got an e board as a review unit in exchange for a video it stills sits in my closet unused 😂 I don’t trust motorized wheels (one wheels, scooters skateboards) very easy to overdo the speed and not be aware of how fast you’re going. I like the feel of the road and putting energy out and getting movement in return ❤ great review!
@@edthatch2097 so Rollerblades are only worth something when you can Wizard that's BS its not like every Scooter an Skateboard owner does constant 180 angled front flips
LOL. These are IRL A-Ts! Brandon, you gotta watch the anime “Air Gear.” 😂
Give skate manufacturers a couple more years and we'll have the same abilities to jump on water bubbles and skate on literal air 😂😂
Getting closer haha
we betting parts or emblems or what? 😂
Came here to tell this guy about Air Gear.

Are the E-brakes strong enough to allow you to stay stationary on a steep hill?
Have you tried them yet going more uphill and downhill versus on surfaces that are generally level?
I’m also interested in how they handle uphill battles

pay more money to get robbed of the experience of skating

I think that would actualy work altho the skates would be 2 very different sizes and weights. I may try this out
Very useful review, thank you!

After going top speed I'm glad they don't have trucks 😅
Yes, She was a massive help!

The ONLY reason im on the fence about these is because I skate really aggressive and dont want to just bust them up
@ 9:06 is so funny 😂. Like you said “it sounds like a plane going over or something.” I wouldn’t use these. Also, I wear adidas too.
its squeaky because the frontal wheels are rubbing onto aluminum frame. The spacers on front wheel are useless.
You should take the Liner shoes from your your usd Shadows, I would be curious to see the ankle support difference and might be a good video idea lol
You might like electric unicycles. Entirely intuitive control experience. You just lean to fall in the direction you want to go: front, back, side.
Your experience is probably the problem. You're second nature with inline skating. Looks like it's a completely different experience and should be treated like something new and NOT like a modified quad or online.
Its a good idea for the city but unusable if you live in a small town in the rockies
Ill stick to my powerslides.
Casio calculator watch 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 🔥

i like the calculator watch aha
Your entire review seems biased against them.
It doesn't seem like you had an open mind
I have the dream E-blades been riding for a while now based here in Melbourne Australia super fast uphill and super quiet.
They aren't unnatural. They are just different from what you are used to
Wtf .. why are every e-skates so crappy ?
One is done by a single person which is the most effective it can go off road at well over 20MPH

@@senritsujumpsuit6021 the thunderblades can‘t be good either, because no two-wheel skates are good :D thats all crap

@@senritsujumpsuit6021 they are only worth if they roll like a „normal“ inline skate.
Can you go barefoot
