Everything past 2014 should have been either a t56 magnum with no lift or a tr6060 with no lift shift. This mt82 junk should have never made it into a mustang in anyway on any level. It seems they did that to make the 10spd unbeatable... but it's actually beatable..... a money grab if you ask me
Ford A/C's are no joke lmao! My old 2008 F-150 felt like they crammed a wall unit in the dash lmao. Same experience with my granny's Focus and my mom's Bronco Heritage.
The performance pack takes care of the over-heating issues with the added cooler and larger radiator. I would always get a PP even with a 300A or 301A if budget is an issue. You also get most of the PP cost back on trade-in too so it's adding value to the car and not a wasted option.
I think the high premium is worth it because of the cooled seats, upgraded leather steering wheel, upgraded sound system, adaptive cruise control and interior lightening
@@EarsPOV yeah true! Honestly I can’t decide between the2024 Ecoboost or the GT! Both have pros and cons. The only con for me on the GT is gas mileage and the only con for me on the ecoboost is not enough power 😂
For 2025 the 401A package is the same price as before but doesn't come with the B&O sound system which is now a separate $1000 option. If you're shopping for a new Mustang go with a 2024, lots of deals out there and you also avoid the price increase Ford slapped on the 2025's.
I went with a low Mileage S550 but I wanted the manual for the fun of it.. The auto's are faster but so what.. The manual is far more engaging and fun to drive.. Save the manuals..
10:48 bud people are always going to do this because they have no clue you’re in a manual and they think YOURE the idiot not paying attention backing traffic up with all that space lol
That’s always a tough call. My current Mustang is a Tremec Manual but I do miss my automatic. I would rather have auto with Supercharger. For me I don’t like ripping through the gearbox to keep boost up, that’s just my preference
I optioned a 10 speed automatic mustang GT on the Ford USA website with the same premier wheels as shown above and got what I wanted for around fifty five thousand US dollars new. So optioning the 3.55 normal LSD and the 301A pack with the performance exhaust and spare wheel gets a great car. While having the dealer fit the factory strut tower brace is a nice touch. Admittedly I was very surprised that the Mustang GT 5.0 with the optional performance exhaust and automatic transmission was substantially faster than a similarly equipped 2SS Camaro. 😎🇦🇺👍
One of the many reasons why I traded mine in for the 6 speed. Coming to a stop was just downright embarrassing at times when it would downshift to 1st and the whole car bucked forward. Same for when I would put it in D or R, huge jerk everytime
I learned manual in a day, but I still struggle getting out of 1st gear, and stall the car on hills... I super enjoyed driving standard, and I hope driving it becomes like second nature... Im thinking about picking up the s650 as my first manual car... Is this a mistake?
probably the best option for a first manual car, the assists in the '24 make it extremely easy to drive, drove my friends the other day and it felt like driving an automatic with one extra step (moving the shift knob). and youre getting a new car with tons of comfort features. I would 100% recommend
A word of advice to you, the OP: many people are literally physically disturbed by the constant frantic motion produced in videos like yours. You need to watch that if you want your channel to be accepted and grow.
@@EarsPOV Because you have the camera mounted on your head, and are constantly turning from side to side, quickly and frantically at times, it can cause a lot of people to get what is called cybersickness. It's pretty much the same as motion sickness. So if it matters to you at all, I'd simply minimize that type of recording. The view seen by the viewer should be as steady as possible.
Hello, I do have a question how long can the new Ford Mustang gt last with a full tank of gas by driving it daily I do want to purchase this car it’s just amazing how it is but I’m still looking around for other options of cars but this is one my dream cars to purchase as well. But I’ll be honest I am still in college and driving to school for 40 minutes with traffic back and forth and possibly driving to work for 15 more minutes so I’m curious is it worth it or this car is more just driving around town that’s it?
Love the new Mustang style but the big digital screens, auto start/stop kill it for me. All new cars have too much electronic junk in them now. The 10 speed is ridiculous for a sports car. My 2022 Stinger had 8 speeds and was more than enough. Its the dumb government rules forcing them to do this for better average gas mileage numbers. One of the big reasons I bought my 2014 Mustang GT was a manual and of course the styling, lack of nanny garbage.
10R’s do WOT and aggressive driving well, daily driving? They whine, make clunky shifts, hate stopping hard, and neutral out randomly still. Unless Ford redesigned the whole son of a bitch it’s still a 10r and will maintain those issues. I know for a fact they still whine like crazy.
@@EarsPOV unless you reset KAM once a month, it’ll start to do weird shit. The whining is the most annoying part of it, as you cannot get rid of it, idle, light acceleration, right before a shift it’s like a whistle almost. If you hit the brakes hard it’ll stop but you’ll feel a big clunk, if you drop it into drive after while it’ll clunk and shake the car, sometimes you’ll put your foot on the gas and it’ll just not go for a second or two then jolt forward. All things I’ve had happen with my own personal 2020 10 Speed car, and never experienced with 2 6R cars.
I have a f150 5.0 and a gt, both with the 10r80. The whine in the f150 is very faint, some people wouldn’t even notice. That’s because the chassis isn’t as stiff as the mustang is. Before the mustang I had a 21 sti pushing 500whp the trans whine was just as loud as the mustang because I had stiffend up the mounts and bushing.
Should have bought a 10spd? 🤣.... never. Should have asked ford if they offer a t56/tr6060 swap option forget that auto bs and to hell with the mt82 now matter which year it is
I got my premium all options but 10 speed because I have a big turbo manual STI so I really didn’t need the manual and I really wanted manual but the 10 speed shifts so dang fast and in track mode it downshifts hard as hell and feels really good. I love the auto gold feature so I don’t have to hold the brake at a stop light.
Naaah this car is a really good daily! I’ve actually always had 2 manual cars of some sort. The only auto car I’d consider rn would be the MK5 Supra bc it’s just too good lol
I wish the manual transmission on the mustang was as solid as the manual transmissions they use on the Camaro SS and Challenger R/T.
Tremec would have been nice! 🔥
TR-6060 would’ve saved the manual Mustang, it may have needed a different gearset though since the Hemi’s and LT/LS make power at lower RPM.
