Quake... 😂 come on fam... that’s not it. You usually don’t missed key points so I’m surprised.
What you forgot to mention was the fact the MGK dropped “binge” and that shit was pure “mumble rap” and was garbage
Second is that mumble rappers actually describes a rapper that is difficult to understand. Not necessarily bad lyrically.
Third. You said Eminem won the lyrical portion...the most IMPORTANT part of a diss. But rap Devil was better?
You should have known the comment section was gonna fillet that ass 😂
Not a Stan though
Still love your videos..
✊🏾
If people listened then they would not be mad but here’s my rebuttal to everything you just said
1. Binge is an EP, not an album. It’s not an actual project. When I did my Em vs Jay video, I didn’t mention Eminem’s Re-Up cause thats not an actual album just a mixtape he released for sale. He didn’t even sell that mixtape well so its not fair to mention it.
2. Thats true a mumble rapper is usually someone difficult to understand but once again MGK isn’t hard to understand. To judge a rapper off a few songs off an EP is ridiculous. MGK is a rapper that can spit his ass off and I ain’t even a fan of his and I can recognize that.
3. A diss track ain’t just lyrics, if that was the case Canibus woulda whooped LL cool J’s ass in their battle and a lot of battles woulda gone a different way.
Diverse Mentality fair answer, can you pin your answer so it will appear in the top and Stans don’t repeat themselves
Diverse Mentality the first 2 are fair points but that last one isn’t because that had more to do with status than lyricism. That can’t exactly be applied here since Eminem is the bigger artist. However I respect your opinion big homie! Music is subjective anyways lol
@@DiverseMentality "if that was the case Canibus woulda whooped LL cool J’s ass"
Didn't you give it to Canibus in your video about their beef?
@@DiverseMentality Fucking amen. I can't understand what is so difficult for them to understand. A diss track's main focus is disses, not lyricism. They are forcing diss songs into a standard in which they don't belong just to give eminem the advantage. Even a year later they don't understand it, or refuse to admit to it.
Honestly, I doubt that you explaining yourself better will help them understand.. don't even bother.
"Eminem only wins the lryical part"
Literally the whole point of rap
If rap is poetry eminem won, if rap is music then mgk won.

But yet this guy (as well as every other FUCKIN IDIOT who says this) says MGK had the better SOUNDING song....like really? Just because it SOUNDS better it makes it better? The fact that Eminem's diss track was more lyrical is EXACTLY the reason why Eminem won the battle. People think the reason why Em put out killshot was to offend mgk and that couldn't be further from the point. Em litteraly dropped killshot as a HUGE lyrical flex on Mgk. Letting him know that no matter how big HE thinks he is that he will never ever touch the lyrical set of skills that Em has. Killshot was not meant to offend mgk but to litteraly destroy his chances at ever being a competitive lyricist. It litteraly showed mgk why Em is respect by the founding fathers of hip hop compared to mgk being only respected by "OG rappers"
How would you even know these are facts em won cause he rebuttal everything mgk said
Eminem is not one of the founding fathers of rap as its been around way before him. But he is possibly the best rapper of all time goat 🐐
Cap
Mgk released his diss the day after kamikaze, kill shot was weeks after rap devil. of course there’s a quality difference.
THIS FUCKING THIS EXACTLY
Listening to Kill Shot still gives me goosebumps. A diss that made a man leave rap music and start making making bubble gum rock. Eminem has the beat, the lyrics and numbers. MGK diss was like Nicki Minaj response to Remy Ma.
MGK didn't leave rap though? he's dropping a rap album after his last pop punk album

“It’s not bad for him” a few seconds in and I’m audibly laughing 🤣
Why Rap Devil is the worst diss song ever:
1. You can’t admit someone is better than you, you automatically lose.
2. You can’t diss someone for having security when you have tons of security yourself
3. You can’t diss 8 mile when you’ve publicly performed the raps from the movie yourself and been a fan of it for years.
4. Cheap shotting someone’s daughter when you’re a single Dad yourself.
5. You would have to be a hardcore Eminem fan yourself to even know who Trick Trick is.
6. God always defeats the devil. (I’m referring to both his restyling of himself and the Armageddon reference)
7. Teasing a rapper about studying the dictionary is like some guitarist off the street going up to Eddie Van Halen and saying “lol ur lame cuz all u do is stay inside and practice guitar and get better, lol no wonder ur da best, such a loser lol”
8. The “since 2012 to come up with a diss” line is a lie because Em was responding to something MGK said on a verse earlier this year, it didn’t take “6 years”
Ems diss at Kamikaze was an answer to that sneak diss, not the tweet from 6 years ago.
9. You can’t diss someone for “acting thuggish and living in luxury” when you have a value of 8 million dollars yourself and act hard and tough all the time, his name is Machine Gun Kelly for gods sake.
10. “Damn you’re in love with me” judging by MGK’s history of fanboying and the twitter feed that proves it and the fact his entire career now is based on Em, it seems the opposite is true.
Basic thesis of the diss “lol ur old” but ems career at MGKs age eclipses his 100 times over. At his age, Em had multiple DIAMOND albums, the success of 8 mile and classic songs like lose yourself, Stan, sing for the moment, and when I’m gone that’ll last generations. People barely remember “wild boy” just a few years later and MGK was opening for FALL OUT BOY when this all happened?
Can you imagine back in the day if Jay Z was talking petty shit about Nas like a little bitch the same way MGK still takes shots at EM on Instagram while Jay Z was OPENING for Blink 182 in the 1990s? No one would fucking take him seriously ever again
12) "you got an oscar damn can anyone else get some food in they mouth" yes mgk just be better than Em ffs 😂
faxxxx
13) MGK's rap devil doesn't have great replay value, as time goes on i notice that it started losing its flavour. Whereas Killshot, everytime i listen to it i realize new things about the lyrics. I've listen to killshot at least 20 times, rap devil I've listened to... maybe 5 times?
Edit: there's also only a few songs of MGK i listen to regularly, but i always go back to MMLP1 and listen to most of the album bar one or two songs.
14) AND YOU DON'T FUCKING COMPLIMENT YOUR OPPONENT IN A DISS TRACK!!!! who tf does stupid shit like that 🙄
Ha #6 the whole industry is based on the devil. No one godly in the industry whatsoever

I think rap devil is a slightly better track as well. Eminem’s rebuttal was great but MGK had an overall more complete track.. and like you said if what MGK was saying was true (which I do believe) it makes character Em look bad .. but nobody will ever know forreal
I really appreciate your videos, everyone can notice how much passion, efforts, accuracy and most importantly impartiality you put into it. I’m not a Stan, I think over all, I listened to maybe the 30% of all Eminem’s music. However I expected on this video in which you are dealing with the topic of eminem and mgk diss, a reflection that perhaps you have missed. Lyricism for me, personally it’s one of the most valuable foundation that makes great an Mc. Eminem lyrically slaughtered mgk, and maybe it's true that mgk had a more catchy song, but as you may have heard from the interview with Sway, Em didn't want to give too much importance to mgk. Consequently, and always in my opinion, eminem with “killshot” was more an advice-song than a diss song against mgk, like a father trying to make his son take the first steps, so I expected this from a person as careful and accurate as you. reasoning. Em didn't want to do too much, i mean, overdoing with his song, no catchy nor elaborate beat, just patting mgk on the back saying "this is how it's done, son." The true value of lyricism. Also, your comment about the Em verse that mgk is a mumble rapper? Yeah whatever, Eminem compared to Mgk? Hell yeah he’s a mumble rapper. In the breakfast club interview with mgk, did you hear how much he sounds absolutely hypocrite? Just starting with “you wanna talk about facts and you are talkin’ about man bun?” Damn he, himself on “rap devil” started with that silly “weird beard” rhyme, come on! He also said that his album sold about 20 millions copies, wtf? Neither Em sold so much with a single album, for example back in the 2002 only in the U.S. with “The Eminem show” sold at most 7,9 millions copies. However, the only (huge) problem I saw with mgk, is that he has to grow up, learn to be humble, to be more mature, and perhaps sometimes learn to shut the f*** up. Another thing that’s really irritating me, it’s like becoming a trend to target eminem to become more famous or to get noticed more by the mass, in addition to mgk also lord jamar is a further example of this toxic trend. And this thing is reluctant to say the least and above all whoever does it should be ashamed of himself.
However I’m repeating myself but I really appreciate your videos, keep up with your efforts to bring up true and impartially content. Thank you very much bro, peace ✌️.

Em raps super well and always has but he done zero research and answered nothing. Em responded to 90% of Rap Devil through a interview 😂
This is my take on this battle. I just want to start off by saying that MGK definitely chewed off more than he could bite. Secondly I believe diss tracks should not be focused towards commercial success but instead get to the point. I think that it's clear for everyone to see that killshot is better lyrically, but besides that it's also a better diss track for the fact that he didn't take the time to shoot a video add a corny hook to his diss track like MGK did. That alone makes killshot the better diss track by a landslide there's a lot more detail that I could go into to prove that killshot is better but I think that's enough.

Killshot is the better diss.
MGK won the beef because his career wasn't destroyed. None of Killshot's lyrics have aged well. MGK's most successful era of music came AFTER the Eminem beef. Ironic. His last album from 2020 was a commercial success. It topped the Billboard and is his only platinum album and he had 4 albums prior that didn't make waves. Eminem beef only skyrocketed his career which completely contradicts what Killshot was supposed to do. In the early 2000s, a diss was supposed to blackball you from the industry. The fact that a diss that sounds good is all that's required to win a beef shows how low the industry's standards have sunk.
I admit that Rap Devil was a good song for sure, but as to the video giving MGK an edge: "Got the Diddy ok, so you spent ya whole day, shooting a video just to fuckin dig ya own grave" that line BODIED the visuals of that video lol

I fuck with Quake but he definitely got it wrong in this a diss isn't measured by how good of a "song" it is Lmao having a better beat and production doesn't make up for the bars you're bringing to the table Em rapped the same playground shit MGK did but what makes Killshot a more clever diss is how he flipped some of the shit MGK said back at him with his lyrics and wordplay but apparently lyrics and bars don't matter to the current generation more than a good beat and dope production Lol
Exactly my thoughts all rap battle is is lyrics to me and everyone else who actually respect the rap battle community. I would of loved someone to tell jay z or nas they lost over a beat or some dumb shitt, even tho they were better lyrically. Wtf even is that

Dude...this is a no brainer..let's get the Pusha T vs Drake video.
That was the first one I was going to do then I realized the battle might flare up again so I replaced it with this one. However there isn't a clear winner in this one. Much debate I see online still.
Should do how the beef between those 2 isn't new and how long its been going on. What people don't know is that Drakes song 2 birds 1 there was a shot towards Pusha T. Then thats where in infared he responds. Remember kids nowadays don't know how long their beef has been happening
I think thats also a no brainer
division100 goes back even further than that. Pusha threw shots at Drake on his “Dont Fuck With Me” song which sampled “Dreams Money Can Buy”. Then Push took more shots at Drake (allegedly) on his “Exodus 23:1” song. Almost a 10 year old beef now.
@@DiverseMentality the extensiveness of that particular beef is what I admire about it. You do meticulous research on these beefs, the 50 vs Ja beef is proof of that. That's why the fact that you have it in mind is awesome.
1:17 "For the first time EVER, I'm going to cover a battle...."
10 seconds later: "It's a battle I covered very extensively"
I think there’s a big part of the beef that people are overlooking and that’s when MGK wasn’t allowed at shade 45. The thing with the timeline that everyone forgets is that after he sent the tweet out about Eminem‘s daughter was the beef with yellow wolf who was signed to shady records at the time. It was during that time when sway told MGK that he wasn’t allowed to be on the radio show but Eminem didn’t even know about this beef. It was because he was beefing with a shady records artist is why he wasn’t allowed up there it had nothing to do with the Eminem/Halle situation. So MGK whether he knew it was because of that or not or he decided to make it about Eminem because it seems to be that he does, he’s not going to beef with someone on his level if he can beef with someone higher than him because he knows that he will gain recognition and Eminem is a much bigger star than Yelawolf. So that’s why he was banned from shade 45. It was a year and a half or two years after that when Eminem then found out about his remarks about his daughter because by that time MGK had went to half a dozen different radio stations, podcast and all this other stuff and was talking about it. Him and Leslie talking about the tweet is what caught Em’s eye. So that’s why he was banned from shade 45. You can’t attack people on his label and expect to be let in the building. People like Eminem and sway may not have known about the beef but the people that work for them sure did. It’s not like it was a high profile beef I mean the only ones that really knew about it were diehard fans of both of those artist. But everyone always forgets about that beef because by the time Eminem found out about the tweet Yelawolf and MGK were cool again.

Saying someone won a battle because it "sounds better" and "has visuals" regardless of who is in the battle is just a really disrespectful to the spirit of hiphop. Sucks to see that lyrics arent respected or even taken into account anymore. Truly a shame.
When you prefer sound over lyrics... you're the problem with todays rap
So you'd listen to dope bars if they sounded like shit?
@@noname-bu1ux there's been occasions like that...but id rather be like that than hearing a dope beat and the artist saying meaning less stuff
@@sharkxxx2932 I get that, but I get the feeling people don't apply that standard to people who are good at rapping who rap about nonsense. People like MF Doom, a third of Mac Miller's discography, a fourth of Eminem's discog.... I'm struggling to find more examples, but when it comes to hip hop, rap is secondary to sonics to me. That's why I fuck with Curren$y so heavy. He sounds amazing. I can't relate to a damn thing he says, but it's fuckwitable. On the converse there's incredibly talented lyricists like Tech N9ne, who I just don't like listening to because I don't like the way they sound. Tech is categorically and undeniably one of the GOATS, there's no way around that. Do I like listening to him? Fuck no...I mean there's a few songs by him that I like, but my distaste for his music got nothing to do with his level of ability, it's because I don't like his voice or his instrumentals or the cringe fringe of his fan base. But his lyrics are honestly incredible, as is his flawless delivery.
Amen👌
But they weren't beefing with bars, they were dropping songs. So they needed to sound good, it's part of being an artist, knowing your battle.

Yes they are about lyrics and speaking facts exposing ur opponent wtf when has it not been about lyrics what diss u hearing
So what the fuck was that shitty computer chorus in "Fall", Marshall's magnum opus diss track? Also, autotune is used regularly in music. Especially when someone with a flat voice tries to sing. What you associate with autotune, the fake computer vocalization, isn't its only function. More often than not, it's used to correct flat notes to a less obvious effect. Eminem uses autotune and vocal harmonies to hide his flat vocals. That's why you never hear him sing live without backups. He's no Layne Staley, and he and his producers know this.
