He said I'll even do your homework for you and turn it in. You cool here's $20 for pizza.
@@ThatBoyBent WORD
Lmfaoooo
Yooo 💯
😂😂😂. It explains why Cole showed up with a fake excuse. His reason for the bow out of the battle never made sense.
Basically…Cole was in it for the rap and skill beef, Drake and Kendrick were in it for personal beef, deeper than rap
For Kendrick, it‘s also cultural. K-Dot literally said he wants to protect the Hip Hop culture from colonizers like Drake. He doesn‘t only want Drake gone. He wants to destroy colorism and he sees Drake as a prime example.
@@jf1573 Kenny Glazer
He won't do sh!t, Drake will be at the top again and Kendrick will disappear
You're dreaming.
@@zibelebruciebenubrucieb8850 Where did I write that Kendrick *WILL SUCCEED* in destroying all colorist culture vultures like Drake? - Obviously, K-Dot will fail in that regard because there is always going to be a new Elvis. Drake is just the latest incarnation.
*BUT* he succeeded in putting the message out there. Now, people see Drake as a deadbeat dad, a culture vulture (especially targeting Atlanta), and a PDF file.
Drake won't go anywhere. Remember, even Cosby, Weinstein, and Kevin Spacey are technically free, now.
And Drake stans don't mind him grooming 14-year-old Millie Bobby Brown with »boys advice« and »dinner dates« while texting her »all the time« that he »misses her«. Or kissing 17-year-old groupies on the mouth live on stage and telling them that their beasts fell good. Or that he's waiting for Billie Eilish to turn 18. Or that he is »supporting« random female high school basketball players …
He'll be fine.
How does it tastes?@@zibelebruciebenubrucieb8850
@@zibelebruciebenubrucieb8850and YOU sound like a Drake glazer. Fall back, lil homie.
If there's a beef between J.Cole and Kendrick, it'll be more about skill rather than allegations. Lol.
Them niggas not really gone ever beef, shit Cole jumped on diddy for Kendrick
Yeah, that's true
Maybe that's Kendricks plan,
Get rid of the one that doesn't belong
Then go bar to bar with the actual competition
That would be lyrical warfare..!! That’s would be sick..!!💯💯
But even better if they drop that collab , that would set the game on notice!! Kendrick and J Cole got mad respect each other, they actually rock with each other..

Dont Jab for 2 years straight....saying u the best.... and then cop out as soon as the fire start...COWARD MOVE‼️‼️‼️
@@IMAPANGPANGHe didn’t “cop out” tho. Did you even watch the video? Cole was going at Kendrick on some rap sparring session, “friendly competition” type stuff, but they informed him that it wasn’t going to be that type of thing and that Kendrick was on a more serious and personal issue with Drake. Cole simply didn’t want to be a part of that and bowed out. Nothing about that is “cowardly” or “copping out”.
I said from the jump, it was never about Cole. K-Dot was on a bigger mission😂 I cant even imagine Dot goin after Cole like this. He was comin for Drake's soul. Love this❤
Same. I said Drake was the primary target, Cole caught the strays and got pressed to respond.
But he did diss Cole on album and on the heart part 4. It's definitely friendlier but they had some shit brewing bc of cole siding with drake and thinking Kendrick was tripping on him 10 years ago. Can't straddle the fence nigga
Nah cole was straddling the fence that's why he been getting dissed since the heart part 4 7 years ago
J Fold still a COWARD
If it wasnt about cole then what is like that a response to?
Cole was like . . . I am not a pawn ♟️ ❌
Used to be a Cole hater cause he was preach-y. In retrospect, I recognize that Cole was becoming more enlightened and genuinely wanted to help people. He a real one
Real men go to war and fight for what they believe in. J cole a coward and will never gain my respect again
That part kdot and cole getting enlightened on their journeys while drake is lost in the land of confusion
You don't think Kendrick I preach-y?
@@user-yn6tp2mc1pKdot is versatile tho, he can do what Cole and Drake does.
@@user-yn6tp2mc1p hell nah. Kendrick has messaging in his lyrics, but it’s as the morale of the story. For example, in how much a dollar cost, he talk about generosity but don’t straight up say “give money to people who need it more.” The difference is Cole said stuff explicitly like, “be content with your own life.” Even though you’re right it’s not really that different, it does hit different from a lyrical standpoint
Used to think Cole dropped the ball but I realize the ball had to be tossed from the outside line.
Makes sense, since Kendrick pretty much walked right around Cole after the 7 min drill track, to jump on Drake
It’s like jcole wanted to collab with drake out of genuine love of music and drake wanted to collab for power and influence. Maybe K dot or Q showed Cole the, Drake the Diddler tapes and he was like oh no sirrrrr
Cole was in it for the rap Kendrick and drake were in it for personal shit
So basically Kendrick sent Cole the “don’t come to school today” text

I can't imagine the sheer diversity and range of the diss tracks I've heard (and apparently more) being executed in a single studio session. That's beyond insane.
I want to know when that studio session happened. Did they sit on this for weeks just to talk to everyone and make sure anyone drake reached out to would abandon him? How many people did they warn besides j cole? Did kdot warn all the ghost writers to jump ship on this?
Then you have never wrote music in that capacity, on a good day i can easily compose and make 10 songs, creating is easy for aome for others they have to wait for a “moment” or some corny shit, that’s bs, how donyou think ghost writers write for men and females and they go across the board with the styles, just cause you cant doesnt mean it doesnt happen regularly

drake wanted cole to be his shield vs kendrick
That’s what I’ve been thinking. Drake was playing Cole & didn’t realize Cole is a grown man w/ an identity beyond fame (unlike him). So Cole pulled a sexy AF move and apologized to Dot, bowed out, and the rest is some good ugly rep beef history.

Kdot know there was nothing to say about cole so he told him to step aside
Well he ain’t full black but that’s been used so many times on Drake 😂😂😂😂
Even without dirt.. IMO in a straight up battle Kendrick would win
Kdot knew it would be hard to battle cole plus him and drake hate each other I wonder why does kdot hate someone who took him on his first biggest tour on the come up
Cole basically said nah Drake you on your own buddy. Kendrick probably threw that he was going to throw that pdfile on Drake and Cole was like I don’t want to be anywhere near that. I’m cool 😎
Did you hear Kendrick say in "They not like us"..When he said you did Cole dirty.
I shooooo did hear that …. That line went over many heads… it’s the second time Kendrick mentioned it in this battle 💯
I heard it
I did I heard !!! I was like bro is Kendrick’s sticking up for his Brudda🥹 Black Friday could still be real😭😭🤧
Drake's Michael Jackson flip was much more appropriate. Kendrick knew fans wanted to see a Kendrick and Cole project;
and he resented it for the possibility Cole could outshine him if a project happened.
Mmmm....Idkkkk he also said he was hugging and kissing Drake. And later he told him he better be a real friend or bye bye.

I'm an OG. My musicality began WAY before hip hop. None of my friends today EVER talk about hip hop. When we were in high school it didn't even exist in the MIDWEST. We we admirers of Soul, Funk and Hard Rock. That being said. The minute Drake hit the scene I saw RIGHT THROUGH him. Dude was suspect from day one, starting with the phony Foundational Black American (FBA) accent from a dude from Canada. Game over from day, folks. But I'm glad people are waking up to this, at last.
At the end of the day it's music. Y'all reaching with this stealing shit. A specific community doesn't own Hip Hip.

It's a respect thing Kendrick and Cole are the goats that can be competitive but it wasnt the time because kdot and Drake was about to get personal unbeknownst to the friendly fire big 3 hip hop shit when there was a fire in the back
The thing about drake saying "top wanna piece it up" was not based on top trynna diffuse the situation. It was based on the idea that dot may have had tensions with top because of a potential fear of not being able to take down drake, as well as the premise that kendrick coukdnt work with dave frees, who he got into business with for pgLang. Thats why kendrick sent a salute to top on euphoria saying "who the fuck they think they playing with"
J Cole: Shows up with water gun ready to play
Drake: Pulls out oozi

I respect Cole
I personally think j Cole bowed out because he seen there wasn’t anything he could have said that would made him the winner in the eyes of the fans.

If only I could hear that 19 minute Euphoria 😢💓
He said there were 5 more after that by the time this interview drops it's gonna be 15 😂
So I’ve listened to all the diss tracks multiple times, and as someone that likes both artists from a far. And I do think there’s something in the notion that Kendrick could simple just open his mouth and get a Grammy. People would have gassed up whatever he put out it seems, because some of his diss tracks weren’t that great. Not like us is easily the best of them all, but the rest weren’t that great. Fans tried to say meet the grahams was as good as family matters, just because he dropped it 30 mins later…the bias is clear with opinions like that. I think it was a classic case of quantity vs quality, drake had the more quality diss tracks with push ups and family matters, whereas Kendrick has the quantity, not like us was the best one easily, but people gassed everything he put out, and the only reason is…Kanye fans, future fans, the weekend fans, metro fans, Kendrick fans, Rick Ross fans etc all have united in saying drake lost no matter what. If drake lost it’s on sheer quantity not on the quality of the diss tracks, the only Kendrick track people are gassing still is not like us…for a reason, whereas I’m still hearing push ups and family matters. This was a popularity contest drake just couldn’t win, because it was literally half of hip hop fans against him 😂. Even the swifties don’t like drake because they think he sent subliminal shots at Taylor 😂.

Ayo Kendrick in one studio session five songs is crazy
I had a feeling this was gonna happen
Drake story includes a handicapped man in a wheelchair now, I would’ve stepped outta this mess too lol
It sounds like Dot made a lot of calls and got a lot of help. We'll see what happens next
Cole thought it was a friendly fade
How did people not figure this out yet?
Everyone thought dot was coming after both of em. The light pack line was initially thought to be bout Cole, obviously now we know it's bout daylyt. This paints the picture of Cole making a diss, dot calling him up and being like, yo ride it out till the 7th but drop it, this aint about you. Drake is adobe and I'm going after him. This relating to k dots mothers story, would obviously result in a public apology saying things like, my chins out, hit me back, but we good.
🎉🎉🎉
YeaitsBud - Back On
Cole didn't wanna make it personal, so it makes sense that when he found out that's what it's going to be, he left. He messes with K and cool with Drake. So it makes perfect sense
Y'all made cole sound like a trophy wife
But in a beef like this. Drake would have had a better image with Cole backing him. Kendrick pretty much told Cole . "You don't want to be in the middle of this or be tight with drake after I call him out for being a weirdo" . That's how I took it. Cole said. Bet thanks for the warning my g.
But that is exactly how Drake moves/thinks. Cole is/was real cool with both of them. I don't blame Drake for wanting an ally, especially someone as big as Cole, when in his words "it's 20v1" & Kendrick always felt Drake was a snake. So in his mind, Drake isn't being real with Cole. "Did Cole foul, I don't know why you still pretending" I don't think he's "fighting over" Cole as much as he just is showing his mutual, genuine respect for the dude by letting him know, "aye this dude is using you"
😱😱😱😱😱❤❤❤❤❤
How the world is forgetting J cole

Serious question...do they mean most of the bars were in one session? Or are they alluding to every song was all one session...cuz he responded to family matters a few times in not like us
He says later in the interview that Not Like Us had changes made to it after Family Matters released so he could respond to it
i think backtrack is the right word he didnt say im sorry far as i remember he laughed his own work off as the lammest thing and that it didnt sit well with him and if kendrick still feels some type of way he can respond it takes more heart to do that than to just drag it for the sake of it i too was mad but i respect him for that wish he hadnt responded in the first place people wouldve foun the response in some other might delete later songs.
Spitting n flowing or almost 20 min is insane to think about
Damn bro you nearly a week late with this news
Nah the schoolboyQ thing is pretty recent news
😂😂
Agree with most of it but I I think a lot of people forget Cole goes just as far back with drake as he does with dot…I don’t think it was JUST about trying to push a wedge between Cole and Kendrick but those 2 been cool since before they dropped in the morning…they definitely have a genuine friendship so I personally feel like Drake didn’t care for the apology itself and Cole’s praising Dot the way he did, more so than the fact that he apologized in the first place
You can tell it was one session. His subject matter didn’t change it just kept getting darker
I think most of us already figured this much though. Continued respect for Cole!
If this was beef strictly on music and the artist, Jcole would’ve stand up but he knew it was gonna go outside of music if Drake was to get involved.
It's how everyone is seeing this now cause i saw this during the apology
When do we get a new "who really won"?
This was never about rap, this was a head shot set in motion years in the making
So he had a conversation with cole then had to go and tell the world that he had a conversation with cole
