There are some great presets that come with it - one of my faves is Sky 2089 by J3PO

I have many hard en softsynths but this is my one of my favorites in de software departement. Cherry 🍒 just have this keep it simple but effective approach and no compremis on the sound quality which really makes a huge difference. People complain sometimes about CPU but think twice the don't spoil CPU power the use it to make things like they should.

Sound quality as important as sound character. Hive saw can sound as good as jp-8080 saw while not exactly the same

I'm not super knowledgable about the history of all the moogs and the differences between them. Cherry have Memorymode as well as Polymode (based off Polymoog). It seems like the Memorymoog is thought of in a bit higher regard that the Poly. Do you think there is a reason to one both, or is there one you prefer to own over the other? Mort Garson's Plantasia really made me fall in love with the Moog sound (although that was the first Moog, so a bit different from those). Would love to hear your (and other's) thoughts on this and what sold you on one vs the other :)

I understand that they are different products but in your opinion what sounds better this or Px memories by Uvi?

The UVI one... it is sampled from the real machine. That saId, it's sampled so not nearly as flexible/

I like the video, but have to say I don't think much of the synth! Sounds silly, but I do appreciate your efforts to let folks know what an instrument sounds like. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Voltage Modular owner and have their 2600 along with some other stuff, just this one doesn't make me smile and go "Oh.... Shiny!" Probably that I'm a 1970's guitar and minimal synth time guy who has moved on the polysynths and modular, sort of skipped the 1980's for synths.
