This is a great tutorial! I've looked into a lot of lace knit videos but so many of them have no instructions, it's just someone silently knitting with music and it's so confusing when you're still learning. I'm going to be turning this into a blanket (I've been making blankets to practice different stitches and stich patterns) and I'm so excited, thank you! ❤
Hi I have been trying to learn an eyelet lace stitch pattern that's in my book for days but it doesn't work. That's when I found your page. It says it's a free pattern about eyelet lace. I thought it would give me some guidance. But when I saw the video I like it even better then the one I have. Unfortunately I can't find the link anywhere. Is it still available? If not can you recommend a easy one. I would appreciate any guidance you wouldn't mind providing. Thank you Jeanette Paris in sunny Ca USA
Here's the pattern (it's a PDF and should open in your device and you can download it) - toniaknits.com/wp-content/uploads/Horseshoe-Lace-Dishtowel-v1.pdf
I’m trying to knit my 1st lace pattern from EFA called the Hadi tee…. I’m so confused with the lace section 🤪. It tells me to slip the 1st st until the lace pattern then to work it… it keeps coming out wrong 😑…. Thank You so much for this video
My stitch markers fall off when they go past the needles and onto the cable, so I can’t use the smaller rounded type ones - just the one that click open & closed! Any tips on fixing my problem?
You have complicated this tutorial by talking so much you confused everyone. You should have just verbalize as you are knitting. From 20 thousand people viewing this oy 31 commented, doesn't that tell you something ?
I think what you meant to say was “thank you for this FREE tutorial “. It’s a lot of work to make a tutorial and edit it. This was excellent and it’s going to be my first lace project!✨
What was your first lace knitting project?
A diagonal lace scarf! It is still one of my favorites!
A rectangle scarf
Thanks you for explanation this is exactly what I need 🎉🎉🎉❤
Glad it was helpful!
Very clear and a great confidence-builder - thanks!

Perfect tutorial! It’s exactly right for me - every time I thought I was getting a bit lost you clarified what we’re doing here 👍
I haven't done much lace knitting but it is amazing at how an easy combination of stitches in a lace pattern can give you amazing results!
Exactly! Just moving around those yarn overs and decreases creates endless possibilities.
I have always loved this stitch but intimidate to attempt! Thanks 💕😊
You can do it!
I’m so happy I found your channel! This so such a beautiful and easy lace pattern. I’m thinking of doing this for an arm warmers for my daughter. 🥰
Great idea!
Hello there… when you placed the markers, were you on the right or wrong side? Thanx
If you were knitting this in the round, what would you do on the wrong side row? Just knit?
Yes!
@@NerdyKnitting thank you!!

Hmm... I'm not sure. Whenever I have issues with stitch markers I switch to a different type. Sorry I can't be more help!
Can you make this bigger to use as a shawl?
You could - just use more repeats of the Lace pattern. And I'd use a different yarn!
