I’m not Catholic, I’m not even officially Christian, but whenever I find a Catholic Church with its doors open, I go in and pray. I didn’t know it was called adoration or even that it was centered on the Eucharist, i just thought it was like offering sanctuary to those in need of both spiritual and temporal relief. Now when I go, I will try to focus on the real presence of Christ.
As a born and raised Catholic, I cannot tell you how much your comment touched me - the simplicity of God reaching out to you, and your humble response to Him. He is drawing you in to His inexhaustible fount of mercy. May it nourish you, and hopefully one day all of heaven will throw a party for your special day into the Church. God bless
I am not Catholic a friend told me about the adoration so today I went to a nearby church the adoration room was quite I felt the peace of God I am happy to know about the adoration.
Adoration is an act of faith and a gesture of love. Adoration is a "heart to heart" with God, a period of time presented with utter gratuity. By offering my presence, I participate in the great offering of Jesus, that is, his life handed over "for the glory of God and the salvation of the world." I salute with a gesture of respect: I bow slowly or I genuflect as a sign of respect in front of the tabernacle or before the Blessed Sacrement exposed on the altar. I dispose my being: To put myself in a state of recollection, I choose to sit or kneel. I close my eyes or I look at the host, a tangible sign of the presence of Christ. In order to make a prayer of adoration I must be silent within myself; I must remove any source of distractions which bother me or prevent me from letting God take over. I stop thinking of my tasks, my uncertainties, my fears, my goals of any sort. I let go of all concerns of the present moment to let God fill me with his love. I am here, present, simply, freely, before the Holy Eucharistic presence; I expect nothing in return and make no particular request for anything. I am here, happy to be here, in the name of love and in the name of the Church. Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mont Royal Prayer Book God Bless
I participated in the Christ Renews His Parish retreat, and both as a participant and a host, I very much enjoyed taking the 3am hour in Adoration. I will never forget that time- so silent, so peaceful, his presence so palpable. ♥️
WOW! You are explaining all of this to a “T” the only reason why I learned about adoration is because I went to a 3 day spiritual retreat AND oh boy. When you said there needs to be 2 others watching it’s SO true because you can go in rest mode and drop to the floor when you feel the presence of the Spirit and God. I had the opportunity to have that warm sedation go through my body and THAT experience can never be undone because my path to God is stronger than ever. I’m a mommy of 2 and it’s been a struggle I suffer from being bipolar and the past years have struggled having my “mom drink” at night 🥺. Please pray for me so that I can accept the calling of God too like how you are sharing with us. It seems like a lot of “work” but that is how God wants us to be. AND YES YOU DID have a calling from God. THANK GOD AMEN 🙏. We are so appreciative for everything you are doing and I can’t stop watching your videos. ❤️🙏🥰
This video touched me in that you are the first person I've seen talk about Adoration. My church has an Adoration chapel and I've been going at various times (sometimes i'm there alone at 2am) since I've had something bad happen to me a few months ago. The chapel is very beautiful. I originally found you by your Rosary video which I've also been praying. I'm older then you and not a parent but your videos are very inspirational for anyone. God Bless.
Adoration was brought up this evening after class. I didn't know what it was before watching your video. Hopefully we can get it started here in my town. If not I can always see if they have it at one of the Catholic churches in the city.
What a timely video this is. In where I am (Sharjah, UAE) adoration is held on saturdays till 12 pm. I have one and half hours left. I am going right now. Thanks.
You are such a genuine wonderful lady. Thank you so much for your videos!!! We need more people like you in this world. Thank you for showing us how god, jesus can be part of our lives. Awesome videos.
This is something I think has been missing from my life. I went for the first time last week and it was AMAZING!! Going to start going at least once a week now. Thank you for this video!!
Question.... do you fast before going like for mass? Went again today (10am)and fasted. I didn’t have breakfast so my tummy was going crazy in there. Kind of embarrassing haha 😆
As Catholics we are required to fast one hour (as an act of sacrifice) if you intend to receive the Holy Eucharist. If you just attend Holy Mass there is no fasting requirement of any kind. However, if you decide on fasting it's a kindly thought which pleases God for the sacrifice you address to Him. God bless!
I try to go to adoration every day. I usually spend an hour but today I was only able to spend a few minutes (which is still totally worth it). My church has a 24 hour adoration chapel six days a week. I really want to go at like 3am sometime. I bet its so peaceful at that time. They have something called Holy Half Hour for little kids.
Thanks for sharing!! I have been drawn to adoration lately even though I have never been. It looks like my home church only does it once a month but another parish in town does it weekly.
Ive always wanted to go to Poland! Pope John Paul II is so amazing! I know it is sad that a lot of Catholic's don't know what adoration is! Hoping that will change! Very few churches have adoration here.
Wow you just earned a new subscriber, is not usual to have a catholic person to be a UA-camr. wishing you God’s grace and love with you I guess you get many negative comments.
There is an adoration chapel next to the local church where I live.I stop in often to pray.Ive never really focused on Jesus while there but each person prays in his own way,her own way too.Adoration chapels are excellent spots to meditate and ground oneslf in the Divine no matter what belief system a soul embraces.
I went in to adoration with my daughter a whispered a prayer with her. There was other 2 people I hope that wasn’t rude. I thought adoration was open after daily mass to anyone. I will have to find out.
I’ve been attending Eucharistic adoration all my life at any Catholic Church that I gone to. And if there’s one thing that I learned about when it comes to attending a Catholic Church. It’s a place for prayer 🙏 and worship, a place for peace and harmony and reconciliation with with God and others. It’s not a place for arguing with each other. It’s not a place for anger, resentment, hatred, gossiping and telling lies. And it’s not a place for political differences. Put aside your political views and worship God with one another.
Pray the Holy Rosary. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I don't have a rosary. I did have a rosary once before because my grandmother was a Catholic and the day we put her in the ground. This sister gave me a rosary but I've lost them and I just started doing the rosary and I feel that I need to get the rosary beads again but I don't where I can get them. If you could tell where I can get the rosary and how they cost... I would love that. Thank you.
Try any Catholic or Christian store in your area. You can also find them on Amazon. A couple other sites are parishstore.com, autom.com, or zieglers.com. They can be anywhere from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars. I hope this helps you.
You don’t have to kneel. Our compassionate Lord is happy that you came to spend time with Him. As to what you do when you are there - you could pray the rosary, read the bible, the Way of the Cross, the Divine Mercy chaplet, or just tell Him what’s on your mind, tell Him your needs - praise and thank Him. Lavish in His Mercy. Or you could just sit there and gaze lovingly at Our Lord and let Him be with you ... hope that helps as some ideas.

WOW it’s still open 24 hours now??
Ours open at 7AM & close at 8PM daily since Corona.
That’s really enlightening to know that I can go in with a book, my Bible or a notepad and just be with Jesus. I loved this video :)
Yes loved this, the Church is beautiful!
Its truely awesome just being alone with Jesus, now I feel I want to go to adoration more often.

Ii use to go to adoration chapel back when I was in the Philippines.
This channel is so interesting for me.
Poland is almost 100% catholic it’s really odd for me that one might not actually know what adoration is.
Ive always wanted to go to Poland! Pope John Paul II is so amazing! I know it is sad that a lot of Catholic's don't know what adoration is! Hoping that will change! Very few churches have adoration here.

Wow! Your adoration chapel is really well maintained... I'm sad for our adoration chapel here... not maintained properly.
Sometimes, I will just sit in front of the tabernacle at my local parish. I live in a foreign country, so I do that sometimes.

Do you have to kneel? I'm disabled and in a wheelchair so that's kind of very difficult for me. And what prayers do you say when there?

Columbian mistic Catalina Rivas says that Jesus gives kiss to every person who come to adoration chapel.
She wrote book called Adoration.
Not sure how old your kiddos are, but I am having a hard time getting my teen to want to go. Would you force him to go?
