I did not grow up playing this game but I did play it a few times at my cousins house and there is some nostalgia. Been having fun using your guides to go through the game and get some achievements. Happy new year buddy! No I managed to get through it after a good few attempts, the body armour was a necessity as the shotgun guys were merciless, the strafe technique is definitely the strategy on this one.

Many of the outdoor levels on Goldeneye are crap because you just can't see anything, but this one is particularly bad. You go round in circles blundering in the dark going to landmarks without knowing where they actually are or what they look like (Perfect Dark was only slightly better in this regard), then at the very end how many times have people failed because they didn't know what to do with Mishkin? The instinct is to just shoot all the guards which of course kills Natalya and you fail. Objective says you escape with her which isn't actually what ends up happening. Very annoying and you have to go through it all again.

Probably the worst level in the game. Short, pointless, you lose if you don’t understand how to trigger cutscenes properly. Lots of backtracking too. It is hard to make a good level for what should have been a cutscene though

We played a lot of this and perfect dark and tho we weren't very good at either we SUCKED at halo. A few years later, after graduating HS and before I fucked everything up in our brolationship a year or so before he died, we came back to this game and bested it on 00 agent. No pussyfooting around either maybe this and a few others like bunker 2 we beat on secret agent after giving up but we never moved on at secret agent. Always completed 00 before moving on. Used secret to figure out the lay of the land.

It’s kinda tough; got it after 6-7 attempts. If you don’t already have the D pad set the same (move/strafe) like your left thumbstick, I don’t know if it’s possible to get. You have to basically speed strafe through entire mission to get this achievement; only need to do it on SA diff. So it’s not as bad. But yeah; this particular one took me the longest to get; so far.
@@Vilo24 it’s in game. When you go to your “watch” while in game, scroll right a few times 3? 4? Once you see the controller on the screen, there’s a “configure option”. The D-Pad, by default might not be mapped to any command, but you can configure to change it- just map it the SAME as the left thumbstick “move/strafe”. Once you get back TO the actual gameplay, you have to position your hands a little weird, in order to get it to work how you want. With your RIGHT hand, use your index finger for the D pad, and use your right Thumb on the right thumbstick., doing this while pressing in the direction with your L thumb on the L thumbstick, will allow Bond to SPRINT essentially, cutting down time to complete missions.
I just watched this video because I was stuck at the final gate. All objectives completed but the game would not end the mission when I walked to the gate. I'm thinking it's a glitch. I did it over multiple times and it wouldn't work. Not sure what is going on.
