I encountered that guard when I was trying to speed run it in order to beat the target time. Mid conversion with Mishkin and this A-hole walks in and points the KF7 at me, and not wanting Mishkin to crack it at me, start shooting, and instantly kill the run i start slapping this guy, but he outright refuses to go down! So here i am, bullets bouncing around, Mishkin still babbling on about Orumov, Natalya standing in the doorway behind me and I'm just slapping this guy hoping that he finally dies before Mishkin finishes his spiel and without wounding anyone. The good news is he finally passed away, the bad news is my time for that run was 82 seconds (missed target by 2 seconds)
Never thought I could ever be able to beat this on higher difficulties. A pro and a scholar, thank you for making me better at one of my favorite games of all time. 😎
The old tea bag slapper trick, ah this game brings back so much nostalgia. Been loving the game all over again, being able to play on an Xbox controller vs the old broken joystick on the n64 is like a dream come true. Thanks for these videos man. Perfect tutorials and a great personality.
These are the best walkthroughs of the levels because you give some really good tips, for instance I’ve been playing this game for years and have beaten 00 agent before but it wasn’t until here that I learned that holding and using by a weapon is what causes Natalya to run away.
Ngl i grew up playing goldeneye as a kid doing these missions without the internet, 20 years later here i am stuck on this mission that i literally forgot that the previous 00 Agent mission was literally trying to teach me (stealth is necessary) here i am doing 100s of attempts trying to blast every guard down in this mission. When i saw the beginning of this video it all clicked and instantly took me back to the good ol days lol
The way you played this and all the other unexpected game mechanics that make it unnecessarily difficult makes me think this is how the developers intended the player to go thru with this stage. One could even argue the slappers are a nonlethal takedown, making it logical that Mishkin would help him, since he didn't kill on his way to him.
If you DO want to make a stand, the stairwell that leads up to the top/attic level is a good place. just make sure to kill the guard that is wandering around up there first.
These walkthroughs are great. I find I am physically able to complete the levels easily on Agent difficult but some of the objectives are not clear how to get them.
The fact it took me an hour to do this just to get a 9 minute time and then I watched a speed run guide and did it first try in 1 minute 22 seconds had me so angry I didn't just speed run to begin with😂
Have you ever noticed the two secret passageways in the walls of this level? I’ve been playing this game since probably 1998 and I JUST found them. The first totally by accident. The second because I was looking for more at that point. What’s cool about these is that once you go inside and close the wall behind you, the enemies cannot enter in after you. If you’ve never found these before, let me know if you want to know where they are.
I think the game generates unlimited copies of existing guards, until the original one is killed. So you could make noise, run to wipe everyone out in the rooms and they'll stop coming
Great vid. I’ve been getting more into this level since this weeks re release on consoles. I love to go loud from the start and have waves of soldiers come at me. Going quiet is fun too. Several ways to play this level. Tons of replay value. Love it.
I got all the way to the end! Got the key to the safe and the bloody guard walks in and then throws a damn grenade before I could get to him! Killing everyone…🙃
Bunker 2 and Archives on Secret or above is where the game starts to get so hard that it just isn't any fun. Rare were never much good at pacing difficulty properly and Perfect Dark is somehow even worse.
I’m on the statue level played a few times I keep getting mercked on my way to the black box even with the body armor. I keep taking damage from the Janus soldiers I’ll take a wrong turn and that messes me up I need to learn the layout a little better. So far silo gave me the most trouble. I’m playing on the N64 I just dusted it off I couldn’t find my other games luckily this cart was in the 64 and I haven’t played this in a long time so I’m a bit rusty but I know I beat the whole game on 00 back in the day
You can kill Miskin after he gives you the key and you won't fail the mission. If you shoot next to him then he'll pull out his DD44 and try to shoot you.

SOB Its a guard!! whats that in his hand. NOOO its a troll nade. Guard proceeds to nade valentine and the boxes killing him. Mission failed 😭😂

5:22 Another reason you don't want to shoot here is because Mishkin might pull out his gun if you do, and you won't be able to get the safe key.

You can hit crouched enemies in the head by looking down. Crosshairs help. You don’t have to crouch to slap them.

yep i think guards spawn infinitely out of rooms you havent killed the original guards in when you shoot your gun, same thing as bunker 2.

CPU has unlimited guards if you make a TON of noise and stay in one spot
