nice idea..i will surely steal this idea ..only thing i want to know, will it be okay if i put plaster of paris or terracotta statue instead of concrete..

I think terracotta will be the safest option!

Did you have any problems with the concrete leaching nasties into the water?

I got my from a local florist supply shop or you could check out the Amazon links in the description for a similar bowl!

What is the correlation between water hardness and pH? Im pretty sure it has something to do with minerals in water buffering the acidity, so harder water tends to be more basic??? Because I'm from Florida, which has SUPER hard water, and I own mostly soft, acidic fish 😭 besides substrate and an RO system, is there anything else you can do to bring pH down and soften water?
