Jebao SLW-10 Powerhead - Review & Unboxing!
Hey Guys, I hope you are all doing well! In today's video, I am going to be giving a little review about the Jebao SLW-10 Powerhead. This is a nano powerhead and is super small but don't let that fool you. The powerhead has a huge kick in flow maxing up to 4000l/h. The Jebao SLW-10 has a customisable setting which I love about this pump! I have been using it in my planted tank and would recommend it as it has drastically improved the flow in the aquarium resulting in better plant growth and less algae. With it being a nano pump the Jebao SLW-10 does not take up too much space in the right aquarium!

How To Clean Lilly Pipes! QUICK EASY
Is it hard and dry or soft and kind of gelatinous?
I have an Atro but I don’t know why my fish so timid. I bought him in 25 July but now he’s always hiding under the rock 😅
Thank you.
Glad the video helped!
i had 2 really big shrimp die are they just old others seem to doing fine.
I think they were just old! Usually life span is about a year!
Great video.
Thank you son much!
You know, I have 1 atropurpureus, 1 ornatus , 2 semoni and 1 rutilaureus. But my rutilaureus even smooller than your surrufus and it’s 9.96 usd 😢😢😢😅😅😅
Aww that sucks but for 10 usd I’d be so happy to get a rutilaureus at that price!
Thank you for the video. Where would you put Purigen and SATZ Clear Water pads into this filter please? I bought it, but can nor figure out how to add these 🙏🏻
Hi. I'm new to this whole thing and purchased glofish tetras. I didn't know I need at least a 10 gallon tank for 6 pcs. What do I do with my 22 pcs? 😭 I wanna keep them and make em happy so bad.
Either you get bigger tank or you will have to sell them. Your tank is way too overcrowded!
worst review
What did I miss out?
That is incredibly useful information thank you thank you thank you
Happy to help!
Hi from Singapore! Love goby fish....have just ordered a pair of these....
Hey! You won’t be disappointed in them! They are amazing fish!
THANK YOU!!!
Happy to help!
Brilliant video. Straight to the point. Love how you show your fish and shrimp feeding on it. I made yesterday a batch of the community plus. Put it in small hearts tray and frozen it. Subscribed.
Thank you so much for the comment and subscribing! I hope your fish enjoyed it!
is this safe with dwarf or juvy?
What kind of fish is that, sorry?
Watching at 0.75 speed 😁😁
Ahaha thank you!
Whoa new video! Can we get an update on the goby tank please!
Of course! I can work on that!

I loved it.. finally a zero plant real actual riverscape aquarium.. gorgeous boulders btw, probably from Scotland or Ireland, they have most beautiful rocks to look at when you see their rivers and beaches… I loved the look of it and I might only later have added 1x ( just one ) valisneria mini on the back between two centerpiece boulders .. nothing more … but is there any way to prevent algae growth? Maybe even if no fish at all but few amano shrimps? or perhaps cappuccino snails?
Thank you so much! I’m glad I didn’t add plants to this scape! I think the boulders are from Scotland. I think a vallis would look really nice, tempting idea. I think having low lighting, good flow and some shrimp and snails will keep algae levels low!
@@KrishsAquariums that is what I too like and think… been watching few videos on riverscaping and they all get much algae and always add too many plants, while the whole idea of riverscapes is the Zen/Serenity/clarity of the water and boulders and truly when you filled the tank, those boulders came to life; it’s like boulders and gravel and stones scream for water to be beautiful.. why add plants unless for those scapes starting from say river shore to river bed in hillstream shape toward only sand and no plants but only at the base with biggest rocks .. I have a 28l tank, not big but if I find two beautiful big boulders with cracks and vains in red or blue and other natural tones, I ll make it.. only Dennerle Mekong sand (trust me, it is beautiful) and some WIO Heaven on the edges or the bed surface itself, few gravels between rocks and a true Zen aqua riverscape with few chilli rasbora’s .. might add a piece or two of wood with Bucephalandra wavy or blue on top to add green hue’s only
What material is the floating ring?
It’s made from air line tubbing!
@KrishsAquariums thank you! How did you make it? I need to do that so my floating plants don't get sucked up into filter 😉
'appreciate the unobtrusive, gentle background music.
Thank you so much!
I know they’re very small and cute but also rather hardy, but if a 28liter or 6gallons tank, with boulders/gravel/sand and some wood only, how many of them would be ok to keep? I’m very careful not to overpopulate a tank + only few amano shrimps in it
I’d say about 15-20!
@@KrishsAquariums wow! I thought 7 max
Love your videos, how many gobies do you keep in your tank?
I got about 15-17, I think!
Can you keep chilli rasboras for over a period of 8-12 months without losing them disappearing without any reason... ??? Has anyone successfully done this ??
It’s super hard to be honest there is alot of different factor, the way best to keep them alive for a long time is find a really good supplier! I got batch of 20 a few months ago and they have all survived from a new supplier I found!
Can you please list the plants that's in it? Thanks! Your work looks really cool!
Bucephalandra Lamandau Mini Red, Cryptocoryne Lucens, Helanthium tenellum "Green", Limnophila sessiliflora and Phyllanthus Fluitans!
I live in Japan. Where and how can I catch these?
Japanese island groups of Yaeyama, Ryukyu (in the latter it’s been found as far north as the Osumi Islands, close to mainland Japan)!
thought I was gonna have to go out and buy some kind of acid, little did I know I had some in my api test kit this whole time👍👍👍
Just a time saving tip right!
Definitely 😁 will give it a try
Please do!
I love small bits of seiryu stone to maintain hardness for shrimp & other hard water loving critters. What I found that was spiking my nitrates/ites constantly in one of my tanks was a particular piece of lava rock whereas the rest of my lava rocks were fine. So there could be problems with individual stones & maybe some bacteria colonies on them, so it would be a good idea to start a beneficial bacteria colony on your porous stones for a week or so before starting a new tank with it.
Oh wow that’s interesting, I’ll have to do some research into this!
I have 3 stiphodon semoni and I don’t know why but then they won’t eat I’ve tried algae wafers and bloodworms and they always hide what should I do?
Sounds like an internal parasite issue!
I don’t know why but mine aren’t eating they were active the first day and now there hiding if tried blood worms and algae wafers what should I do?
It could be an internal parasite problem, are they skinny?
@@KrishsAquariums I got them 2 days ago from the pet shop they also are skinny
@Gamingspurs I think it could be a parasite thing, try and get some anti internal parasites medication and also make sure there is lots of algae for them to graze on!
@@KrishsAquariums sure thing I will keep trying to feed them until I get it
@Gamingspurs water changes should help too!
Not good with Bettas! My bettas ate them.
Oh nooo! That sucks!
what kind of betta did u have? a giant?plakat?halfmoon? im planning on keeping it with a halfmoon, so id appreciate it if you could share your experience.
At 6.19 is that some kind of goby?
Stiphodon Goby!
So glad I saw your video before shopping for stones! I would have been happy to try seiru stone, but my ph is high enough already. Thanks.:)
Glad the video helped you!
ok so what if I dident Drip Aclimate my new shrimps and just Dumped them straight in my Aquarium,Will they Die?Sorry new to keeping shrimps
The should be okay as long as there original water parameters and similar to your aquarium water parameters!
Main problem with my tank is that my guppies come to the surface to breathe if my bubler is off.. Mainly die to less area available for oxygen exchange due to small mouth of bowl.. Please suggest...
Maybe try some fast growing plants that can help oxygenate the water!
Food?
Sera O-Nip FD-Mix! I got a link in the description!
What food do you use? Brand name?
Hikari Tropical Micro Pellets! I got a link in the description!
Vous coupez votre filtre pour les nourrir?
Do cherry shrimp need air stone in a heavily planted tank?
Not essential, but can help them!
Lots of liquor in the background
👀
Nice info. But to improve could you make the music less loud because it’s overpowering your voice
Definitely agree, I have been working on this on my newer videos!
OMG!! They are so cute!!💜💜💜
They are amazing little fish!
Beautiful! i struggle to get mine to eat fish food directly. seems too skittish around other types of fish in my tank. Mine just grazes my sponge filter and BBA in my tank.
As long as there belly are plump that’s a good sign!
@@KrishsAquariums im experimenting with the idea of bringing algae from my outside pond so the stiphodon has more areas to graze on and spinking crushed algae wafers on the moss when i feed. It seems to be doing well.
At what water parameters they thrive the best?
pH around 6.5 and soft water!
do they predate the guppy fry ?
Mostly likely yes!
What did you feed them?
Sera O-Nip FD-Mix! I got a link in the description!
I had a school of 70 i remained with 10 for a long time. Now im breeding them . Keep them only with shrimp and pygmie corydoras
This is awesome! I wish I could breed these little fish!
Hi I’ve just bought 10 for my big hillstream tank after being inspired by your channel.ive subscibed! One thing though the guy in the a very reputable fish shop told me that the was no need to deworm them as they were captive raised.this goes against all the research I’ve done.have you heard about any developments in the captive breeding/raising of this species? I
Amazing! No stiphodon gobies are captive bred as it almost impossible to do as there larve need to develop in saltwater. I have read of people spawning their stiphodons and getting eggs. I’d assume the eggs hatch but the larve die soon after! I have not come across anyone who has successfully raised the fry!
Use sand and soil, way cheaper, and amazing rich plants.
Great idea, add some root tabs too!
I finally got a trio of these for my 125 gallon. They are with 3 Stiphodon anniea, 3 Stiphodon semoni, and 2 Stiphodon atropurpureus. I am hoping to add a trio of Stiphodon percnopterygionus if I can find them. The tank is pretty heavily planted with a good amount of driftwood and smooth river rocks. Do you think that the tank size is adequate for that many Stiphodon gobies? They share the tank with 9 Otocinclus and 115 green neon tetras. I supplement with repashi and baby brine shrimp to ensure everyone eats.
I think you will be all good with those extra 3 stiphodons! That’s a good diet you are feeding them too!
