When your on your sonar and it’s showing green you need to have all of the green points at each angle of the pentagon

The hexagon in the lower right corner of the boat terminal is very helpful. You want to try to get all 5 green dots as close to the smaller hexagon mad of dashes. Just imagine each dot as a finger. If the are all in the middle and bunches up you can't catch anything. If those green dots turn red and go outside the dotted line it's like your hand is sprawled open and again you can't catch anything. On the dotted your hand would be perfect to catch something. I saw that on reddit somewhere and it helped me with this.
Tbh I wish you would do like 50 minute vid or even maybe a 1hour I really like this game and I just wish would do it more
Ok, I liked for the jump cut alone. I would have died a bit if you hadn't seen that, and that's a really good way to implement that/correct missing it. Great vid too! Yeah on a Trawler i usually use the max crew 4 with the Doors 3 for Gutting,Freezing and stacking and the 8th is my cook so i can get the others back to work faster.

This was very enjoyable to watch and looks like fun to try to do.
Zoom in on the sonar to the lowest setting. The zoom shows reading history, not depth. For deep line, zoom into 100m and drop when sword and tuna are in the middle of sonar. For longline drop when fish is at the far right as soon as you see it.

On the sonar you can see the how deep the fish are on the cross in the middle thats why you didnt catch any fish on the first try they were 150m deep and your net was only 120m

96 meter isn that deep at all, right out the fjord in Kolvereid Trøndelag is it over 400 meters

it’s not much usually under 15 minutes sadly. most people want 30-60 minute videos.
He's recording for more than an hour to get enough material for one episode. Often way longer, I guess. He's cutting a lot out.

If you look at the radar while you are trowling, it's says the depth of the scool of fish. so that is why you did not hit the scool of fish, you're net was not at the depth it needed to be inn to get it.

I wanna know how levels of storage upgrades work do you have to get all level 1,2,3,4 and 5 or you just have to get level 5 to max it out. Please help if anyone know any thing about it.
when u use the sonar if u minmize it shows of probabl 100m or something. cause u maxed it..its showing all the fish in the radius of 1000m

Damn it man, put your sonar down to 100m and you will have better presentation of fish closer to you. 😂
That is why you see so many fish, it shows all the fish you passed in last 1000m (plus it goes wonky after fast travel) .

your workers level up as you use them. your better off getting the lower people and building them up.
If you zoom your radar into 100m it is less broken and give a better representation of where the fish are

Do long line you make money but net is good also I you still have your radar on 100 zoomed out because the radar keeps your old fish on it so you have to make the distance small so you can see where the fish are
I have 100 hours so take my advise and get the artic pioneer if you are doing long line
Also deep line the min depth is 125m lol

I got Barents Sea a while back and i got addicted to it fast.....just be aware of your boat capacity....there were several times i ran outta space on a huge haul line

can anyone help me out here. every time i try deepline fishing for tuna and swordfish i always wait the preferred 7-8 in game hours but apparently the deep lines over soak during that time. it makes no sense

Change the sonar to 500 feet. 1000 will show you a bunch of fish you can't really catch
