- Susan Jacks & Bill Pesklevits speak with Studio 4 Host Fanny Kiefer about their story of kidney donation. Susan received a kidney transplant in February, 2010 and was fortunate that her brother Billy (whose name was used for her international hit song "Which Way You Going Billy?") was a perfect match.

Their Dad was my grade 7 teacher in Port Coquitlam. Viscount Elementary. He would bring in Poppy Family records to play for us. Sorry to hear of Susan's passing.

When I was six years old, I discovered the love of singing and music because of Susan jacks. At that age, my uncle bought me the dream album, which was my first album ever, and I would sit in my room and sing all day long. My mom somehow got me backstage at a concert here in Calgary and she was gracious enough to hug me and speak to me for a while, and to this day, I still have her autograph. I am 56 now, I’m so sad she’s gone.

Wonderful story. Handsome siblings. My favorite is Now And Then.....magical voice and I'm not a huge C//W fan. Mostly the crossover artists like Patsy and Juice th Everly's. Now that's going back.

According to Wiki, her kidney problems came back again several years and she nearly died. Glad to say she didn't.
