I'm still trying to figure out how to adjust my shudder speed and F stop since I'm just using a cell phone camera. I've made a couple of attempts with fireworks but my shudder speed was too slow and didn't really get any of the explosion.
Oh gotcha man! I hope you get it figyout with the phone! Thanks for watching 👊👊
Definitely want to try this. Now the only issue... Trying to get explosives in Northern Ireland 😬
Awesome!! You might have to smuggle some 😂😂
Yeaaaah first🔥🙌🏻

If you're in the UK you can get crackling balls from Amazon for about £7 a pack
Awesome! Great info!
Have you ever tried using black powder as the explosive before? How do you keep from damaging or charring the toys also?
I get mine from cvs
Wao really helpful and good video, sometimes the little details, like wet the figure, escape to us. Thanks a lot excellent work. I live in Puerto Rico, one time I tell you that, so the fireworks didn't come on aircrafts but for the New Years eve the store sells some fireworks and I buy it.
Thanks for watching dude! Glad you’re able to find fireworks over by you!
Love your vids can you do a edit on phone where you add firework to the same photo pls cause I don’t have a computer pls do it on phone pls

@@sirdork730 I've become slightly obsessed with watching your videos. You have inspired me to get more serious with my cameras. Do you still have an instagram page? I tried locating it but cant seem to find it.
Jared you're a genius.. I like all your techniques that very practical and easy to use.. keep creating man!
Wow thank you! I’m so glad you think so 🙏😆
Jared absolutely love your stuff man! Incredible shots and your tutorials are an absolute GOD SEND! I need to ask you a favor. LOL. Please start using masks on your layers instead of erasing. LOL. It's the same principal but if you erase something it's gone forever. Just would hate for you to do all that work and have to redo it over again if you noticed a mistake. When you use a mask you can take anything out (just like erasing) but then if you make a mistake, you can just paint it back in no problems and nothing is gone forever. When you erase only, once you erase it it's gone. When you mask out something you can still go back in and bring it back later. When I started off using Photoshop decades ago (I know I am dating myself) I use to do the same thing. Then a co-worker introduced me to masking and I have never looked back. Also, PLEASE DO NOT MERGE YOUR LAYERS! LOL. Once you do all that work you can't edit anything every again if you merge all your layers into one. My suggestion is to select all of your layers and make them all a Smart Object (Right click on any of the layers once select and select "Covert to Smart Object." This will condense all the layers down into one layer but they are still editable. Heaven forbid if you missed something and you need to go back and edit it you can just double click on the smart object and all of your layers are still editable. Just some tips for you. Again, amazing stuff man and thank you for your awesome shots and your incredible tutorials. I have learned a ton watching your vids!
Home tour sometime?
Home tour is coming up next!

Thank you so much! 😭😭
Yep it has certainly grown !
Great photos!😍 ever since I saw your videos I started trying toy photography
You're best tutorial so far!
So glad you think so dude! Thanks for watching!
Hi can I ask a question? How do you get a fast enough shutter speed i.e over 1/4000 sec if photographing in low light? I have tried the blast effects you demonstrated and I know works best in the sunlight to get a fast enough shutter but when photographing fireworks they need to be taken at night or low light, so there won't be anywhere near enough of a fast enough shutter? Do you use shutter priority mode then? I know you mentioned shoot in the shade or at sunset but at sunset the light levels will be really low?? Thanks in advance
Hey! Finding the perfect time of day is very helpful! I love shooting towards the end of the day. The sun has set, but it isn’t dark yet. That’s usually perfect for fireworks!
For settings, adjust a few other things to brighten things up. Bring your Fstop to a lower amount to brighten things up!
I also will bring in some outside light to help with that as well, some LEDs or lights to brighten the figure up!
This really helps, awesome video, I’ve never been a pro with using fireworks and sparklers
So glad to hear it dude! Thanks for watching!
Great video learned a lot. Think this might be your best tutorial. Keep up the great work \,,/
Thanks so much for watching dude! 👊
This is exactly what I needed to see!! Thanks!!!!
i get my firecrackers at Nitro Fireworks in Nitro WV
you should do some indoor photography with a monitor .
Grate Video!
Thanks for watching ☺️
Your videos are awesome
Another great video Jared!!
I purchased Photoshop a while back, unfortunately I'm completely lost when trying to do any of this editing. I've been buying my Magic Balls by the case at a local fireworks store in Flint Mi. only about a 20 min drive from home. Two stores Red Apple Fireworks and Phantom Fireworks, and they are both within an 1/8th of a mile from each other. Open year round and at this point I get a discount from Red Apple. Guy always asks how my toy photography has been progressing when I walk in the door
Spectacular bro. Always so fun to watch. 😆💥 love the Be Safe aspect ! Gotta get that perfect shot, sod my fingers or scorch marks 😆👍🏽
I usually put my figures is Grassy places and make water drip by bringing a small cup
Very smart!!
Not finding your IG account. Did you change your name?
Hey! Im having an issue with my instagram account at the moment actually. It’s currently under review by Facebook because of a hack that happened to me recently. Hopefully it will be back up soon!
I am however still active on Twitter, UA-cam and Tiktok! @sirdork730
I go into a lot of detail with my account in this recent stream. Thanks so much for the support!
