Trying not to use the word legend but... tonight you are! And yes the wires were indeed broken when i could open the door and access them.. many thanks
I've done this and managed to get the door open but when you central lock it again with key fob it goes back to jammed. I tink this means one has to remove the whole panel and fiddle with wires in the loom.
Unfortunately yes!, it’s only a quick fix to show how to get the door open, sometimes it just sticks, as in the lock on the door, mybe try a spray of WD40 or silicone spray, if not yes the wiring is bad, good luck and let Me know how you get on, Best wishes!.
My car does this but I recently put child lock on that door (I never locked my doors so it stayed open) but my partner was messing about and locked my doors so I can't do this trick. Does anyone know what I can do now to get my door to open?
@@Brucecarmaintence71 if i could get the door open i would take the child lock off The switch for it is on the side of the door and can't be reached with the door closed
@@Brucecarmaintence71 because the child lock is on when the door locked it wont open from the inside so i cant get your method to work I have done further research elsewhere and have to take the door card off and faff about inside the door itself

How do you open it if the child lock is on that door?
Try taking the child lock off and see if that works, but if unsure if you have kids remember and put the child lock back after you have tried it.
