    I have purchased adjustable ridgelines, continuous loops, and two of the hideaway tarps from HHH. Treavor has always shown the best customer service. Great products and thanks for the review.

    Tony meant to say “structural ridge line” for the hammock. “Continuous ridge line” is a tarp suspension technique. The line runs the entire length of the tarp to anchor points with the tarp clipping to the continuous ridge line. The other option for tarps are “ridge ties”

    • @randomadventures2.0

      I didn't catch that when I was filming or editing yes thank you so much for pointing out the difference for everyone

      @@randomadventures2.0 you were correct that the “structural ridge line” sets the sag of the hammock. Only one out of my four hammocks uses a whoopee sling as a structural ridge line… the other three are set.

    Thanks for the review Tony. I just told ReWyld outdoors that you cant just have 1 or 2 hammocks always looking for another. I really like the zipper bug net. Great camera work.

      Hey guys yes Thank you so much for watching the review and That design Really I couldn't get over how Well constructed that hammock was And how the Bug nut is in away from the strap And also tucked away if you didn't need it in that bag That was on the structural Ridgeline. I have to agree with you so much nicer getting in and out of and also not putting the steaks in allows it to rock when the wind blows or you move kind of like a cradle in the trees very comfortable

    That's a nice hammock. I'm not a hammock camper, but would be willing to try. Probably would be easier to get out of a hammock then off an airbed in a tent. I gave two bad knees and getting up off the ground is hard at times. Thank you for the review.

    • @randomadventures2.0
      @randomadventures2.0  Місяць тому

      Joyce I think once you experienced it with a right setup with the structural Ridgeline I don't think you would ever tent camp again I'm not confident with how you would enjoy it you will have to let me know if you ever give it a try

    I have a few of his products. They are all top notch. Good quality. The tie outs will give you more room in the hammock.Hennessy hammocks have similar tie outs. They are a real benefit and make for a much better experience.

    Enjoyed the review! My REM hammock and Hideaway tarp (with continuous ridgeline and tie-outs) are supposed to be here tomorrow. This will be my third hammock. HHH seem to be great values and I'm really looking forward to trying them out. Looking like the first hang will be in the back yard during a thunderstorm - so we'll see how that goes.

    • @randomadventures2.0
      @randomadventures2.0  Місяць тому

      Wow I hope you got them in you'll have to let me know how your Camp went in the backyard and if you do decide to get a hanging High hammock give the discount code random Ventures 2.0 so you can get some off

      @@randomadventures2.0 The hammock and tarp showed up today and they look quite nice - especially at the price point. The 12x10' tarp looks big on the floor but I'm sure the size will be appreciated when the rain is blowing sideways at 40-50 mph.
      I've inspected everything, made a few tweaks and upgrades, and we'll give them a try tomorrow night. Hopefully the weather clears a little.

    Tony your in the woods with thousands of trees you shouldnt have needed another strap😂. Im 5-8 too and have found, 6 normal steps between trees is perfect. 5 and 7 steps are doable. Thats what I always go with. That hammock looks really nice too

    • @randomadventures2.0
      @randomadventures2.0  Місяць тому +1

      Yeah that area was logged out so trees for where I can access quickly and easily what I thought was a little closer was actually a little further apart than I anticipated but you're correct that's about how many steps is best

    • @stitch3163
      @stitch3163 Місяць тому +1

      Most hammocks come with weight limit specs, but unless you want an ultralight hammock for a thru hike, I think that you’ll be fine with most offerings. Just check their specs before purchasing.
