CIS is continuous injection system; the K in K-jetronic is "Kontinuierlich", i.e. continuous.
It's the "control pressure" which defines the mixture via the warm up regulator.

Also looking forward to the fuel pressure test video, i have a audi 100 turbo quattro that only starts when the metering plate is lifted. I suspect too high fuel pressure.

When our ur has been running, then you stop it and leave for 1/2 hour , it starts up badly and missies as though its choked up, any suggestions please

Yes try checking fuel pressure. Sounds like the fuel accumulator is faulty. It should hold 3.5bar for 20 minutes after running.
