The DD 18238 is an awesome watch. However for me I fell in love with the DJ. I like the cleaner dial of just having the date. Both are amazing and if Rolex had not made a DJ I would have gone for the DD. Good luck in whatever one you choose.

These gems primarily help to reduce friction and provide a hard, smooth surface to allow metal components such as the wheel train to rotate freely. This movement has 27 of them.
