I've did the math to find an equation that find the speed of Uranus when he hit number of earths. Keep in mind that planets in this equation are not spinning and hit directly in the center and no change in direction and every Earth's speed is 0.

Vo : initial Uranus speed.
n : number of Earths hit by Uranus.
Vn : speed of Uranus after he hit n Earths.
Number of earths to stop Uranus completely is ∞ if you take the limit the limit and solve the equation.
EDIT : The mass of fragments the lost into space are neglected. and also the Gravitational Force is 0.

This is horrifically wrong. He said it at 45 earths and the earths population is about 8billion let’s say rounded. Meaning 10 earths would be 80Billoon meaning 50 would be 400B. 45 would be 360B which is 360,000,000,000. But if you’re talking about 75 earths then you would be right

I kept track this time and about 386 Earths were completely obliterated on film (give or take a few because of estimation during the Venus experiment and the one where you turned on orbits).

How many earths does it take to stop uranus's orbit velocity?
We could work it out with math, but that doesn't involve planitary explosions.
XperimentorEES Earths that have no velocity would never be able to stop Uranus. To understand this we must look at the energy of Uranus in this situation. This is recorded through Newtons or Mass x meters/second. The amount of energy that Uranus has will always stay the same so when we add mass the velocity is reduced. This is because the Earths themselves have no velocity and thus are not imparting any energy into Uranus (1 earth mass x 0=0). You could have infinitely many Earths in this situation and you would not make Uranus’s velocity equal zero. On Earth we can stop something like a car or truck with something of lesser mass because that object can exert friction on a surface, in space this is not the case and as a result this challenge is impossible.

Just because a wall isn't moving, doesn't mean a truck keeps going through it because it has more energy.
You're forgetting that there's still several factors being overlooked that would add up, such as inertia; while I agree it'd still be moving regardless, it'd still be slowing down from the repeated collisions. Stopping it wasn't the goal anyway, despite being a rhetorical question, it just needs to be slow enough that its speed is either drops so small as to be irrelevant or falls out of orbit with the sun.

As a person living on one of the earths I can confirm, life sucks
What Gray didn't know when he started this: if the Earths aren't moving, it will take *an infinite number of Earths* to cancle out Uranus' momentum because nothing is providing a momentum in the other direction to actually cancel out Uranus' momentum.
When he said how many Earth's it would take, I thought he was going to fire Earth's at a certain speed or Earth's orbital speed at a moving Uranus.
