Hi Liz, enjoyed the video. Have you checked out the ebike cover we talked about yet? I ask because w3 just started another trip and covered the bikes, and remembered our discussion.
I actually only plan ahead for the next 7 to 14 days, because I watch the weather. I recently switched from doing the southern California coast to going further inland (Pinnacles NP, Joshua Tree NP, and Palm Springs). Doing so avoided the heavy rains along the coast. By just planning short term, I can be more flexible. I also find openings in campgrounds that usually don't have openings because people cancel at the last minute. So far, it's working out well. So, my first part of planning is looking at the weather and then decide where I will go next. Or sometimes the best option is just staying where you are. I also only travel 75 to 125 miles per day. This allows me time to go shopping, do laundry, get propane, stop at Planet Fitness for a shower, etc. Since I am retired and RV full time, there is no rush to get from Point A to Point B.
How can one person (Lady) be so informative, interesting, knowledgeable, and just plan awesome every single video?? 👍🙂 As always Liz, Amazing! 😏 Stay safe and enjoy. God Bless.
Thanx Liz, my husband is retiring this year. We have a pull behind 26 bunk house. We started camping a few years ago. We love it♥️ we have camped in almost all of the Indiana State Parks. We have been to a few National Parks and we are looking forward to traveling to a lot more. Thanks for all your travel tips! I follow a few on Utube and really like to compare traveling in different campers rvs. We are planning on downsizing because my husband is a pilot and he wants to land in all 50 states! I will follow him around and we will camp. Thanks again safe travels♥️
Great Idea to make placemats from you RV Trip Wizard actual trips! Thank you for guide on how to make them. I have RV Life Trip Wizard and absolute love it. Liz, if you turn on the time zone in the trip settings, it adds more colors to the states and makes for a more colorful placemat.
On our last trip to Maine we did not make any reservations. It was so relaxing. We saw some places in our home state of New York that I never knew existed. The draw back of not having any plan was that we missed out on a couple of things that were closed on the weekend. I had a general idea of the route I was gonna travel but we deviated from that a couple of times. We traveled to Texas a couple of times during winter. The first year we stayed in Rockport. The RV park we stayed at was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. It was a great stay and we met some great people. Our second winter we went to Aransas Pass. I think the RV parks there are nicer than Rockport plus it’s closer to the ferry that takes you to Port Aransas. We paid $550 per month not including electric. There were some cold nights but it never went below freezing. Stay well and safe travels!
Hi Warren. Wow, thanks so much for the good tips about Texas. I have never camped there but I'm going to have to change that!!! Happy travels to you and thanks for watching!
Thanks for tips. We are planners as well. RV Trip Wizard is the bomb when it comes to planning. While part timers, we always reserve our end pont park well in advance. Overnight stays a day or two is normal as we have more flex and plans change. Last year we brought an RV GPS, that was our next stress relief. Next rest stop, fuel, etc. while on the road in an RV. If we miss our turn we are confident on getting ourselves back on track. Gas buddy we use to find cheapest diesel lcoally when not attached to 5th wheel.
OMG! This is perfect timing. My husband and I need to watch this video as we’re were just trying to plan out our summer. We don’t even have the rest of our spring planned. We have too many choices and the luxury of a very flexible schedule.
We live here on Lake Conroe in Texas, and the winters are very mild here. It does get down to freezing once in a while, but it rarely stays cold. That deep freeze Texas had a couple of years ago was a freak occurrence. A hundred-year storm is what they said. I've lived here on the lake for 20 years now, and typically we get a cold snap that will last maybe a week, and we warm back up. Our average low in the winter is 40F. Anywhere from here to the southern most tip of Texas along the coast is very similar to Florida as far as weather goes.
Thanks so much for this! I have never camped in Texas. I have had good things about Lake Conroe so I will have to check that out. And see you in the next video!
Thank you for your wonderful video. Your videos are so informative and my wife and I just live watching. Hopefully we will be able to RV in our future. Be safe and keep the videos coming.
Thanks Liz. I'm a full-timer and use Trip Wizzard exclusively and for more reviews, use campendium. I plan a full year, too, and almost always stay in national forests or the core of engineer parks. They are less expensive and prettier. Your comment about not traveling on the weekends makes a lot of sense but I also work during the week so I hope I don't have any mechanical issues!
Hey there! I was a weekender for decades before I became a fulltimer so I get it. Glad you are out getting to see our beautiful country. Yes, COE are the best!!! Sometimes they have very long gravel roads to get to, which I am not too fond of though! Thanks for watching and wishing you much happy camping in 2023!
I converted my Camry Condo Into a "Tiny House on Wheels," and couldn't be happier. I just went through a couple minus 15 nights here in Colorado and slept like a baby, with a heated mattress pad over me, plugged into my 1500 watt Jackery. I took my seats out nearly 2 years ago and put drawers in, and a 4 inch gel/foam mattress in the back, with a small refrigerator too. I'm a 68 yo retired lady veteran, who is thrilled to not be paying rent, utilities, wifi. I shower at Planet Fitness for free, as I'm on Silver Sneakers, and I either sleep in their parking lot or Walmart, and sometimes Cracker Barrel.
Wow, sounds like you have a great setup that is working for you! I would love to interview you and showcase your Camry Condo someday. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the information Liz. Your videos just continue to get better and better. Waiting until the end to share your “motto” brings a perfect fluent closure ❤ Happy New Year and Happy Camping😊
Yes! I had never heard of that place and I'm surprised you are liking it more than San Diego. That is good to know and I definitely need to check it out. Thanks for the tip.
Yes, those placemats have been a big hit whenever I have company. I did a screen shot of the year's route in Trip Wizard. Then I added the stops and year number in Photoshop. I sized it on 8.5 x 11 paper and printed it front and back (itinerary on back with multiple screen shots which I arranged in columns). My table in my old rig had a clear plastic protector so I just slipped them under there. In my new rig, I will get them laminated. You could also hang them on a wall. Let me know how they turn out, Monica!
Texas is a must see. The freeze of ‘21 was a freak storm that had never happened before. Texas is a huge state and many parts may have a freeze but it’s gone in 2 days. Right now we’re in a quaint town, in a quiet RV park (100yrs old) in Glen Rose, Tx. (Dinosaur Capital of TX). An hour from Ft Worth/Dallas. Weather is in mid 70’s. Big Bend NP is in an area that rarely freezes. Come to Texas, but plan to spend several months to see it all. LoL, don’t come in July…HOT
Thanks Liz... knowledge is power. Been trying to plan at least next year trying being a snow bird 2.5 months then I can still come back home and work the rest of the year until official retirement. Almost 62 now and hands need a break from doing upholstery 47 years.
Great advise. I might even try trip wizard. Since we are not full timers, we tend to stay at state parks and Corps of Engineer parks, as well as the other federal CGs. Price is the driver. We also use the 3-3 rule.
Yes, that rule is so helpful. Thanks for watching. Yes, RV Trip Wizard would help you see all the reviews in one place plus plan the mileage, etc. Wishing you a good year full of many happy camping memories!
What a great idea! Placemat printouts. Thanks for all the great ideas. My parents are retiring this year and will be on the road for 2 months. I would love to make them this for next Christmas. All the places they went to. You are inspiring. We are new campers and I learn a lot from you. Save travels!! God Bless.
Yes, I am 6 years from retirement, so I'm planning. I really thought about the theme I wanted to go with. So I'm doing all the national parks, and Puget Sound. I'd like to spend a whole summer up in Puget Sound. I'm also contemplating bike trails. The great bike trails of America. I love to ride a bike.
Yes! Bike trails are a great way to see an area. I love doing rail trails! Hope to see you out there. And those last six years will just fly by, I just know it! Happy planning!
We love your video's!! The greatest channel for such great information for living in an RV. We are making plans to sell our 2.3 acres and live in one. We are in our later 60's and early 70's. Thanks for all this great information. WA state here.
Hi Kathy! Wow, thanks so much! You are so kind. I'm glad my videos have helped and thanks for taking the time to tell me! Looking forward to meeting you on the road!
GAH! BEND IS THE BEST! And Smith Rock is just amazing!! I hope you were able to hike around the area! I am *SO* glad you got to do that~! We live in the Portland area and we get over there as many times a year as humanly possible. Lucky for us, our niece moved there, soooo.. :D Great and informative video, once again! Love your content!!
Great tips, love the maps with the stops on the back. When hitting Northern California, book early as campgrounds are very busy from spring to fall. We're booking 6 months in advance if we are staying over a weekend.
Awww, thanks so much for the support and encouragement. I've got lots of good stuff planned for 2023! See you in the next video, and thanks for watching.
Many years ago I had gotten trip planning software and started thinking about what trip I would make if I could. At the time I had a 1976 Little Scotty trailer and that was what I would have taken. Unfortunately I wasn't financially able at the time but it was just fun planning. I picked Washington State on the coast as my destination. The software allowed you to picked your travel time and I could choose campgrounds or other places to stay. As this was my fantasy trip I figured I would stay a bare minimum of 2 nights and add nights if there were things to do nearby. My trip wasn't barely planned and it was already nearly 2 years with all the stops I wanted to do. Maybe one day when my hubby retires we can take our Minnie Winnie and do a trip like this. The traveling from Florida to Oregon in 3.5 weeks is more like you are driving for a job in my opinion and thus not fun.
Hi there! Yes, such a good point. For many it can be really fun just to plan out a dream travel trip! I hope you do get out here someday. At least you've got the Minnie Winnie so it sounds like you are getting out on weekends. Thanks for watching!
Wow, thay sounds like money well spent! You would save yourself a lot of time and aggravation using that service! Thanks for hooking us up with a discount code! Safe travels Liz!!!
Hey Liz, great to see a new video for the New Year! Hope your holidays were great and hope your new year is all you desire. Safe travels and great advice, I think I’ll go check out trip wizard.
Thanks so much Erik, and for commenting in the first hour, it really helps the channel. Happy New Year to you as well! Let me know what you think about RV Trip Wizard.
Thank you Liz - very good tips! We are still part-timers and the theme idea is awesome. I think this is the year of exploring our own backyard by staying at Harvest Hosts near us. Wishing you a Happy New Year 🎉
So nice to see you again my dear I enjoy all your videos, tips and information. Hope you’re doing well and had a wonderful holiday. Sending you positive energy from Southern California.
Thanks Mark! I hope to see you this year. I posted my schedule in the private group, let me know if I will be anywhere near you. And I so appreciate your good cheer!
Texas is pretty good south of the Santa Fe/Houston areas 95% of the time during winter. I am not going to say 100% because there was a cold spike that went all the way to Brownsville TX and into MX right before Christmas. Good Luck.
I'd think closer to Houston or Galveston would be better than Central TX. The ice storms tend to be near San Antonio and above. There may be some areas in LA, MS, and AL, as well, staying closer to the Coast in the winter
Liz, that was fantastic! We are so going to use that Trip Planner, I LOVE IT!!! As all ways, such great information. Thank you so much Liz ✌ Valerie Bledsoe in N.Idaho👋❤
Hi Valerie. That's so awesome you found this video helpful. Thanks so much for letting me know. I have SO much I want to share with you. Thanks for watching and stay tuned! And stay warm up there in N. Idaho, I hear you got lots of snow!
Good video as always, just wanted to contribute on the 'finding places worth visiting' portion I started using roadtrippers lately and have found it to be very helpful. Take care.
On my C2C bike trip, I learned people who winter in Florida are “snowbirds” and in Texas they’re called “Winter Texans” A hard lesson to learn is avoiding “go fever” and not leaving too early in the morning (deer encounters) or too long.
Yes, "go fever" will take away the joy for sure. I had not heard of "Winter Texans." I have never camped there but am going to have to change that! Thanks for watching and I bet you have SO many great memories of your C2C!
We’re gonna finally be on the road next year it looks like and that’s the same way I don’t know where to start very interesting video because it is mind-boggling I’d like to head towards South Carolina from Michigan then where I don’t know 😅
Hi Howard! Yes, it's absolutely mind boggling because of all the possibilities. I hope my video helped you get started with planning. Looking forward to seeing you on the road! And thanks for watching.
Liz you should come to Corpus Christi TX . It’s warm almost all year. Rare freezing weather. If it’s cold it’ll warm up next day. We moved from AR to this location an weather an the ocean. The KOA in Corpus Christi is so pretty here we take our RV out an just enjoy views of ocean even though we have a house here. We live here but we bought a rv an started traveling. Safe travels!!
Hi Amanda! I have heard good things about Corpus Christi! I have never camped in Texas at all and I appreciate the good tip! Ocean views sound fabulous!!! Thanks for watching!
@@LizAmazing Corpus is an industrial area with large fields, cows, etc. My people. They build oil platforms there. Galveston is more of a playground of Houston. Both have their advantages. I like Corpus for its remoteness. However, avoid during spring break.
As usual, such an informative video! AND, as other of your videos, you are so garsh darn addictive to watch Liz!!! It isn't like I'm not going to watch anymore, but I'm still going to watch for that super cute laugh of yours!!!
@@LizAmazing I know it'll come back! I just LOVE listening to your voice!!! So addicting, and still being able to listen to your message! And, as usual, I just gave you another hug❣️
Sadly we pretty much just wing it. We know where we want to go and make reservations before we leave. Everything after that is up for grabs. Sadly we don't always allow enough travel time either. Sometimes that makes for long driving days. We did sign up for RV Trip Wizard last year, but we haven't used it yet.
Hi Adrian! Sometimes there's a learning curve figuring out what's right for you as far as how long to travel and how far to travel. I'm glad to share that Trip Wizard made my planning SO much easier! Let me know how it goes once you start with it. Happy travels!
We are in Yuma, until the 13th. Then we move to Quartzsite for a meetup, with Grand Adventure. Then the Grand Design is having their boon docking rally. I try to have Intel for travel days, and destination. And I try to make reservations 6 months in advance. Of course we are thousand trails members, so life’s is a little easier.
Great job Liz also thought I would make a suggestion to talk about whether you use a road side service your thoughts experiences I have used AAA+ for years always very good experience just a thought
Great to see you Liz! Happy New Year to you 💐 this was a wonderful video, thank you so much for the information. I agree, RV Trip Wizard is awesome 💯 sending you love and positive vibes ❤️
Thanks Liz, good information. The trip planning has been the hardest part of this full-time rving. I have Trip Wizard but I still have issues using it. Maybe you can do a segment showing how you use Trip Wizard.
Thanks Michelle. I had another full-time RV or show me how to use it. There was a little bit of a learning curve, but then it worked out pretty easy. I wonder if they have any tutorials.
@@LizAmazing I never thought to see if there is a tutorial. I'll look for one. I just really have to sit down again and take the time to figure it out. It may be a little more user-friendly now. Thanks Liz
Good Info, I thought I saw your look-alike Rig go through Ruidoso, NM were I live. :) One day I will be on the road but part-time. Your info is good for part-time and full-time people.
Why thank you so much! I am next door in Arizona but it's good to know there's a rig like mine on the road! New Mexico is high on my list to explore!!! Thanks so much for watching!
I absolutely love your videos!!!! I am so proud of you for doing this on your own, infact I enjoy your videos a lot more since Paul is no longer in the picture, you seem a lot more relaxed and happy. Can’t wait until your next video.
Awww, thank you so much! It's been quite the journey these past few months, but I do feel I've turned the corner. Thanks again for your comment and see you in the next one!
@@LizAmazing Happy New Year! I got married December 1st, purchased a new 5th we plan on taking out west this spring and a new puppy coming in two weeks! Lots going on and appreciate your channel for information on our new (future lifestyle)...will you be at the Florida RV show this month?
@@sandralewin5920 Wow!! Congratulations, lots of happy exciting changes!! I was there last year, but will miss the show this year as I am on the other side of the country. Enjoy!
@@LizAmazing I would have liked a meet up. Maybe some time in the future at another event. Wish you well, happiness and health for this new year. Do you remember "keep on truckin?" Lol
@@sandralewin5920 I know it! We did a meetup last year and it was well-attended even though it was cold! I'll be in Quartzsite though. Wish I could be everywhere at once! Enjoy the show. And now I'm singing that Keep on Trucking song!!! 😀
Palmview, TX has warm temps in the winter...it's close to the border and someone I follow on YT is staying there now. She mentioned temperatures in the 80s. The RV Park is called Americana, the Birding Center Resort. It has a bird sanctuary in that park. Just FYI
Thanks for another informative ideo. Very good suggestions. How did you get the placemats of your RV Trip Wizard trips? I would LOVE to do that!! I read one of your replies that you did a screen shot on RVTW and printed it. I think they changed the look of the trips because I can't get my trips to look like yours with the entire trip showing in the US map. We've been on four big trips and placemats with our route would be awesome! What a great idea! Thank you.
Hi there Tony & Monica! Glad you found my instructions on the placemat. If you zoom out on your trip you will see the whole of the US. Also you can toggle off the filters such as "show campgrounds" so that just the route is showing. Best of luck and so glad you like the placemat idea!
Thanks Liz, great tips! We are not full-timers, so we are still struggling w the time to destination, which is keeping us from planning a cross-country trip that we would love to do. Even limiting the number of miles we drive in a day, it's still too much driving at one time, which is stressful w people cutting you off and semis blowing past. We typ book a 2- or 3-night stop every few stops, which helps. I began using Trip Wizard, too, last year. Love the planning feature, but (unless I'm missing something), it doesn't seem to have real-time navigation like Google maps; only written directions. I've only been able to use it with my laptop (when I'm co-pilot) bc it hasn't worked w our phones (Androids). Thanks again, and happy trails!
Hi there! Yes, it takes some thought about how you could go cross country and not overdo it on driving. I don't know if anyone has used the navigation feature, or if it even has one. I'm betting someone will read your comment and let us both know! And thanks for watching!
@Liz Amazing Hi Liz, so I'm curious then, once you map out your routes, what do you use for navigation? Curious bc part of the RV Life tool discussed is to ID RV-friendly roads to destinations, which I can confirm vary (by numerous miles, in some cases) from routes Google maps would choose. 🤔 Thx! Happy trails!
@@KM-hy9pb I use RV, Garman, Google maps and Apple Maps. I compare all three the day before I travel. I also look at Google earth. RV Garmin has priority because it has the height and length of my rig, but I have learned that none of these are fool proof.
Hi Annie! while you can filter the results to show National Parks and forests, it's really not going to help you much. Your best bet is to check out freecampsites.net. Thanks for watching!
Loved the video thanks for sharing it with me ! I'm still in Washington State lol but not funny. I bought a 2010 Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP. This motorhome was a true dream to find , because it only has 4,0304 miles ever put on it. Seems like I have hit back luck ever since I hit Washington State. The problem I can't see to be able to leave Washington State. I have to get a few more quotes next week and I should be able to have my insurance to pay this off. This motorhome is like 13 years old and Tiffin want work on any motorhome that is over 10 years old. I have found a 2016 Newmar that I will try to purchase in the next two weeks. Then it will be off to Arizona for me. You should look into a Thousand Trails member ship. I had to put 10% down but the payments are only $299 per month and I can stay at any one for 21 days. Their are ton's of then on the coast line. I have a friend and she stayed in Key West, Fl for 21 days last month and is staying at a different one this month. You can stay at any RV park and pay up to $80.00 per night like K and M. It does not take to many nights to go over $299 . I will stay south during the winter for sure. I have meet some on the most nicest people in the world out here on the road. I truly love watching your videos. Jeff
Hi Jeff! Yes, Thousand Trails is awesome! I plan to do another video about that soon. I've been a member for almost four years but haven't done a video about it for a while. Exciting to hear about your (potential) Newmar, I've done a couple reviews on them. Their coaches sure are NICE! Looking forward to seeing you on the road! And thanks for watching.

Yes! I had never heard of that place and I'm surprised you are liking it more than San Diego. That is good to know and I definitely need to check it out. Thanks for the tip.
QUESTION. We use trip wizard and love it. How do you print the trips like you did for your placemats? I love that idea!!
Thank you! We’ll give it a try. Safe travels.
Galveston, TX is a great place to stay in Texas. There is a Galveston Island KOA or State Park there, we enjoy the KOA.
Oooh, thanks for this. I will definitely check that out. Am hearing good things about Galveston. And thanks for watching.
Wow, that sounds delightful. I truly have never camped in Texas, but I definitely need to change that. Making my list right now, thanks for the tips.
Thanks Liz... knowledge is power. Been trying to plan at least next year trying being a snow bird 2.5 months then I can still come back home and work the rest of the year until official retirement. Almost 62 now and hands need a break from doing upholstery 47 years.
Hi Corinne! How exciting. Yes, do what you can when you can. Just being a snowbird will be such a treat! Thanks for watching!
God Bless.
Hi Tara! Thanks so much for this, sure made me smile! Glad to have you here and hope you are one of the ones bringing me closer to 100,000!!!
Thanks for the info, maybe try camp ga or south Carolina coastal for winter you have a great time
Yes! I enjoyed my time in Yemassee and visiting Beaufort last year. Such a great area!
This is such an important video that takes stress away and allows you to travel like a pro! Wow- thank you! 😊
Wow, thank you so much Bernard! I'm so glad you found this video helpful!!! Happy travels to you and thanks for watching. See you in the next one!
Texas Stay in the rio Grande Valley, lots of parks. It hits only freezing 1 or 2 nights about every 4 -6 years.
This is great to know, thank you!
You do awesome videos. Excellent work and smooth presentation. Good luck on the 100k. Happy trails!☀️🎆🥂
Thanks so much Cheryl! I am definitely gunning for that 100k. Exciting!! See you in the next video and thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for your support, Jan! Yes, I LOVE Bend and can't wait to be back! Glad you know it, too!
My ostentatious used to winter in McAllen Texas. Had one or two days with freezing temps. Don't know much about the area now.
Thanks Gary, and for watching! See you in the next video!
What awesome information Liz, I am a wanna-be RVer. I love watching all your videos!!
Yay, Susan, I am so happy you are enjoying my videos! I have a lot of stuff in the pipeline, can't wait to share!!!
Always great content. Trip wizard has gotten us to places we would have never thought of. Thanks for doing great videos.
Hey Bob! Thanks so much for your support! I so appreciate it- and your endorsement of Trip Wizard, that's sure to nudge others give it a try!
Great tips, love the maps with the stops on the back. When hitting Northern California, book early as campgrounds are very busy from spring to fall. We're booking 6 months in advance if we are staying over a weekend.
This is such a great tip! So much to see in all of California BUT thousands of folks all wanting to see it! Happy travels to you!
Well Liz, for me this is your best video. You look rested, my type of content. Next maybe we'll see where you land. Thanks, keep up good work.
Thanks Ray, so very nice of you! I have so much I can't wait to show you! Lots of travel, tips and learning, stay tuned!
Great to hear from you Liz you look amazing ❤ great information. I m looking forward to getting on the road in my new RV . Hope to see you out there .
Congratulations on your new RV Jeff!!! Looking forward to seeing you out here, and thanks for watching.
Great video ma'am. You've been dropping golden nuggets lately. Wishing you the best in 2023 and beyond!
Great video as usual Liz! Absolutely love your placemat idea! That my dear is really clever! ;)
Awww, thanks so much! Really great to have you here! See you in the next video~!
Wow, thay sounds like money well spent! You would save yourself a lot of time and aggravation using that service! Thanks for hooking us up with a discount code! Safe travels Liz!!!
Sure appreciate your support and encouragement Rosemary!!! And thanks for watching.
great info we did the south west and part of the north west great time
That's awesome, Allan! I bet you made many great memories. Thanks for watching!
Nice to see you again Liz! Happy New Year! Really enjoy your high quality videos, content and production. Stay safe!
Hi Ed! Thanks so much for the kind words. Your comments always brighten my day!
@@LizAmazing will do and thank you for the savings we all can enjoy!
Thank you Liz - very good tips! We are still part-timers and the theme idea is awesome. I think this is the year of exploring our own backyard by staying at Harvest Hosts near us. Wishing you a Happy New Year 🎉
Well that sounds like a great plan, Elena. So much to see and do everywhere! Happy New Year to you as well!
Good Luck.
Thanks for the tip! I definitely need to add Texas to my list. And thanks for watching.
@@LizAmazing LoL now all of TX is cold and Icy.
@@allisonmoore1802 I hear that!
Great tips Liz! I also really appreciate the RV Trip Wizard discount - I was considering getting that app but this sealed the deal.
So glad to hear this, Craig! Let me know how you like RV Trip Wizard. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Hi Liz Another great video with great information, and the Arizona living is doing you great justice. You look fantastic. See you next time. 💖💖🥂🥂🕊🕊
Thanks so very much Larry!!! Good to have you here and thanks for watching!
I'd think closer to Houston or Galveston would be better than Central TX. The ice storms tend to be near San Antonio and above. There may be some areas in LA, MS, and AL, as well, staying closer to the Coast in the winter
This is good to know. Thank you so much. See you in the next video.
Good advice. Starting out probably this year
Yay! How exciting Mary Jane! I hope to meet you on the road. Happy planning!
Great tips, thanks for sharing. The blue top is a good color for you.
Thanks Stan, so happy to have you here!
Going now to join Patreon! See you there Liz!
That's awesome. I look forward to seeing you there! And thanks so much for your support!
Wal-Mart lets you park your RV in their lot knowingly? Free of charge?
Liz, that was fantastic! We are so going to use that Trip Planner, I LOVE IT!!! As all ways, such great information. Thank you so much Liz ✌ Valerie Bledsoe in N.Idaho👋❤
Hi Valerie. That's so awesome you found this video helpful. Thanks so much for letting me know. I have SO much I want to share with you. Thanks for watching and stay tuned! And stay warm up there in N. Idaho, I hear you got lots of snow!
Great advice tips Liz. I love Smith Rock❤ and areas near Bend. You look great by the way. Can’t wait to see the places you go to this year!
Yay! So glad you know Smith Rock and the other places near Bend! Thanks for your kind words. And I have SO much I want to show you!!! Stay tuned!
Good video as always, just wanted to contribute on the 'finding places worth visiting' portion I started using roadtrippers lately and have found it to be very helpful. Take care.
Great tip, thank you for sharing this Edward, and thanks for watching!
Always something to learn from you,Liz.
You are a pro from start to finish.
❤️
You are so kind!!! Thank you so much! I am super excited to be hitting 100,000 subscribers this year. Thanks for helping me get there!
Great travel planning tip. Thank you.
Thank you so much, John, big hugs to you!
On my C2C bike trip, I learned people who winter in Florida are “snowbirds” and in Texas they’re called “Winter Texans”
A hard lesson to learn is avoiding “go fever” and not leaving too early in the morning (deer encounters) or too long.
I would agree. I think you should check out Corpus Christi Liz. It's like Billings Montana with an ocean! Can't beat the sunsets!
@@mjo8856 Hi Mark! That’s good to know! Montana on the ocean sounds very enticing!
@@LizAmazing Corpus is an industrial area with large fields, cows, etc. My people. They build oil platforms there. Galveston is more of a playground of Houston. Both have their advantages. I like Corpus for its remoteness. However, avoid during spring break.
@@mjo8856 Good to know, thank you!
As usual, such an informative video! AND, as other of your videos, you are so garsh darn addictive to watch Liz!!! It isn't like I'm not going to watch anymore, but I'm still going to watch for that super cute laugh of yours!!!
Thanks Michael! Stay tuned for the laugh, I know it’s going to come back someday soon. Glad to have you here as always! ❤️
Yes, I love that Thousand Trails! Looking forward to doing an updated video about TT later this year. Thanks for watching and enjoy Quartzsite!
Great job Liz also thought I would make a suggestion to talk about whether you use a road side service your thoughts experiences I have used AAA+ for years always very good experience just a thought
Hey there! I am considering AAA+ or Coachnet and am doing the research now. Stay tuned for a video for sure! And thanks for watching.
You have the most amazingly beautiful skin! I'm curious what foundation you use, if that's not too personal? I'm 62 and am on the hunt for makeup.
Hi there! I think I was blessed with good genetics! I use Clinique foundation. And good sunblock under that. Thanks for watching.
Liz this is great information. Thank you so much
Thank you so much for saying, so, Kathy! I'm so glad you are here.
Great to see you Liz! Happy New Year to you 💐 this was a wonderful video, thank you so much for the information. I agree, RV Trip Wizard is awesome 💯 sending you love and positive vibes ❤️

Yay! Thank you so much! See you in the next one!
Thanks Liz
Hello Miss Liz! Long time to see, hope all is well. Love the Vids. Always great to see a notification about your channel.
Yay! It feels so good to be back! And nice to see you again. Happy New Year and see you in the next one.
Good Info, I thought I saw your look-alike Rig go through Ruidoso, NM were I live. :) One day I will be on the road but part-time. Your info is good for part-time and full-time people.

Palmview, TX has warm temps in the winter...it's close to the border and someone I follow on YT is staying there now. She mentioned temperatures in the 80s. The RV Park is called Americana, the Birding Center Resort. It has a bird sanctuary in that park. Just FYI

Hi Debbie! I have never camped in Texas. Have heard good things about South Padre Island. I totally need to check it out! Thanks so much!
I camp in a minivan. Are campground rates the same for all vehicles or cheaper for vehicles that fit in smaller spots?
Same. 30amp is cheaper than 50 amps in a lot of places. But I have never seen smaller sites cheaper than larger ones. Thanks for asking!

Great tips! We have used RV Trip Wizard for several years (part time). It is awesome! Enjoy your video’s!
Thanks for this, Jerilynn! You've been using Trip Wizard longer than me. Glad you like it, too. See you in the next video!
Sorry, that should have said RV Garmin
Liz I believe someone could make good money planning trips for People👍
You're right about that!
Would RV trip Wizard be any good for boondocking?
Hi Annie! while you can filter the results to show National Parks and forests, it's really not going to help you much. Your best bet is to check out freecampsites.net. Thanks for watching!
Great information, thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to tell me so, Lorraine! See you in the next video!
Loved the video thanks for sharing it with me ! I'm still in Washington State lol but not funny. I bought a 2010 Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP. This motorhome was a true dream to find , because it only has 4,0304 miles ever put on it. Seems like I have hit back luck
ever since I hit Washington State. You can stay at any RV park and pay up to $80.00 per night like
K and M.
