I have driven both and like them each for their own reasons. After spending time in both, I think I would go for the manual, but every other day I switch over to the DCT being better. If you want that connection the manual gets you, then go manual, but if you want performance and the quickest M4 possible, the DCT is the only way to go. Both are equally as fun to drive, so no matter what way you decide to go you will be happy.

DCT is better but manual is the one I'd have, you'll have more fun on a good twisty road if you had a manual, of if you like doing clutch kicks haha
