Tamiya Mokei 1/25 Scale German Army 45.5 Ton Panther Tank

1966? Tamiya Mokei 1/25 German Army 45.5 Ton Panther, Kit DR 2007-1800, Deluxe Series No.7. The model is motorized (two RE-36 Mabuchi motors) and remote control. The instructions are for the 1/21 model. You’ll also notice that the tracks are the individual link type. Obviously, the bag had been opened by my dad and moved into a ziploc bag later.

I have this one but I made it into a Burg-panther as It has rear drive making room for a driving compartment and use a Tiger 1 driver parts and scratch built the spade and winch box with cable holding up the spade up

This looks very impressive; especially with "ahead-of-its-time" individual track links. Though it suffers from the same disadvantages of many of the other period, large-scale armor kits you shared with us, (soft details, lack of in-scale figures and accessories that would be useful in constructing a diorama,) I suspect it could be built-up into a showpiece worthy of museum display. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Reminds me of the old German guy who had an actual Panther tank in his basement. German authorities weren't too pleased about it.

I’ve been building my collection for 20 years and have nearly every model that manufactures every made in 1/25-1/24 scale in military hardware. Some I purchased used and rebuilt back to display worthy, but has lost their motorized ability from age and parts availability.
