Jazz versions of popular songs aren't always very impressive, but this is incredible.
It mainly depends on the arranger. Lucas is a genius.

When I play classical guitar I feel like my fingers are all tangled. Watching you play all those chords and switch between them seamlessly is impressive. I actually bought a classical guitar because of you in the past and toughts it wouldn't be harder than electric but I was wrong. This clearly indicates that your playing is on another level. Brilliant playing. I forgot about the original and just let this carry me to places. I particularly love how the "hello, hello, how low" part is arranged, but it's great all the way. Shows that jazz is as omnivore species.
Great cover, most of the time I forgot completely the original and it stood pretty well on its own

That is a masterful arrangement with very creative reharmonizations.
That was masterful, sir. Skill with the guitar, even at your level, is not so uncommon as many guitarists think. But the, “genius,” you exhibited there was in the creativity of that arrangement. It’s far harder, as any guitarist will admit, to learn how to come up with original approaches, clever arrangements and creative ways of playing them, than it is to repetitively learn the basic skill of repeating what other guitarists have already played. What you did with Nirvana there, was rather like what Monet did for painting, or what Spencer Tracy did for acting: you took something that many have known and worked with and created something utterly new. You gave us the charm of recognition of the original piece and the wonder at your utterly unique approach. There was genuine creative genius in that, sir. I speak as a musician myself, in a former life and without nearly your level of technical skill, but still with your love of the art form.
What I’m trying to say is THANK YOU. ✌️👍
