Love dynamic music. Weather its like payday 2 where it has the song add more to it depending on what conditions the police are in. Or my fav dmc5 where the higher your grade in battle the more of the song starts to play
when i saw the steam page first, i honestly thought it looked good but i was also scared that it may have came out as a flop. great to hear that isnt the case! definitely excited to check it out
So glad FPS games are good again, the early 2010s were not a good sign and even games that made fun of the era of shooters like Bulletstorm still had the same problems
The music is one of my favorite things about the game. it's very ghost in the shell inspired, in fact the main theme reminds me so much of the opening sequence of the original ghost in the shell film.
Man, I'd love to cover the history of monster truck games and have a whole rant about why every motorsport gets a simulator yet all monster jam games are pure garbage but that won't get any views.
if you like games with dynamic music, you might want to check out get even. it's from the same dev that made Chernobylite and ww3, but it's a bit closer to a walking sim with some fps elements. there's mediocre shooting gameplay, but the story is delivered well, the voice acting is great, and the music is incredible. they run all the ambience and room sound effects through a midi version of the songs so stuff like leaky pipes, heart monitor beeps, all pulse to the song around you. it's incredible to move through an environment that is the song.
@@Gatorade69 if it goes cheap under $5 id recommend it. it's definitely not a great game in terms of gameplay. the only thing i can recommend without spoiling anything is just go guns blazing. another character will scold you for it, but you'll have more fun, you'll get a more interesting ending, and the stealth system in the game sucks if you try to do a stealth run anyways.
There's 9 weapons. Needing to swap through 8 other guns before getting to the gun you actually need to use isn't really valid for this type of game. You need to be able to swap fast.
Looks good but I'm currently still in the middle of Turbo Overkill's campaign and have Zortch on my list thanks to Civvie's recent video and that's before I get to amid evil. I'm drowning in quality boomer shooters right now. Though I wouldn't mind something a little slower paced like a Half Life styled game if we can get one.

Just saw the trailer earlier today, and figured I didn't wanna just look and say to myself "omg, FEAR", and instabuy it. I was itching all day, looking for reviews and whatever else, being I didn't wanna buy an early birthday present.. TOO early. But this HERE 11:44 sold me. The game went STRAIGHT into the cart after that. Plus I instasubbed lol. Thanks, brother !

I remember the keys from 1 to 9 (and more) on a qwerty keyboard are totally different in says in my case an azerty keyboard. It's not 1,2,3,... But the special characters on the keys like &,é,",... Soool essentially what this means is that i'll have to alt +shift (change to qwerty layout) which in my cas me is not mich of a problem but for some, quite a bummer. TLDR: FR*NCH keyboard
I love Titanfall 2, but no way I'm going to store 60 gb+ on my hard drive for short game with little to no replayibility (I know 60 gb is pretty normal nowadays, but still no). This game is godsend to scratch that movement shooter itch without filling my hard drive
Yeah the uncompressed audio sounds good but damn does it take up space. Do you not like the multiplayer ? There's a client called the Northstar client that fixes the MP on PC.

I think I've said it before, but it bears repeating: you raise important points and ask vital questions, have relatable grievances and appropriate commendations. In my eyes. And you bind your weapons around WASD as any aficionado who's worth their salt should do. If it made me sound kinda arrogant and pompous... well, uh... I guess I can sound like that sometimes.

I'll add this to my wishlist, it's the exact type of game I like to play. I'll get to this, Zortch, Deadlink, Turbo Overkill(didn't enjoy the demo due to the controls just not feeling right, but it deserves another chance), and Nightmare Reaper after I get through Armored Core 6. Any plans to re-review Roboquest once it's out of early access? It's changed a lot and it's probably my favorite of all the shooters I've picked up on a youtuber's recommendation

you can go in and rebind keys using your kb/m software. I do this in synapse when I have games that do not let you rebind

That's the point...you only have two walljumps. It's supposed to be a resource that you combine with your ground movement and shotgun jumping.
