At 7:11 The Folks Who Live On The Hill...beautiful. That harmony is pure bliss. Around my house when people ask "who is that singing on your stereo?" I often say "my girls...The King Sisters". I just love them!

The two little girls are so cute. I bet they are Candy's daughers. Laurette is always so much fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.

At 03:14, "Cam, my youngest..." Little Cam grew up to be a voice artist. He voiced "Mac" the dog, and several other characters on the PBS series "Clifford the Big Red Dog".

Yes in this clip you will see KIng Sisters Marilyn, Luise, Alyce, Donna and Vonnie. King Cousins Cathy, Carolyn, Candy, Susannah and Laurette were featured with Marilyn's youngest daughter and Candy's daughter. Missing was Maxine King as well as King Cousin Tina Cole.

Did the King Sisters have access to the Fountain of Youth? They never seemed to age!

Without a doubt Alyce was the best singer in the bunch. I wonder where they taped the "Folks Who Live on the Hill" sequence- Mount Vernon?

I think that there were originally Six King Sisters - Here, I see at least Five - and I do notice that Tina Cole is not with the cousins. There were many King Cousins, hard to keep up with them all, I primarily remember Tina and Cathy Cole, usually joined by two other pretty gal cousins - I'm sure they couldn't ALL sing - but no one can deny that the King Sisters had a wonderful vocal blending.

Tina was probably filming episodes of "My Three Sons", which had an erratic filming schedule. It depended upon when Fred MacMurray was free from his film engagements at Disney!

I wonder where the band and audience were kept.

Was this the King Family's final TV show? I don't seem to recall seeing them anytime afterwards.

We need more of them. People are forgetting what America is and they are trying to erase our history
